Fresh, delicious & interesting
I live in the building and am here to say that I've only had good experiences. The food is beautifully prepared, always fresh and deliciously seasoned. The menu is unique and varied, the coffee wonderful, all served by a hardworking and cheerful staff. I suppose there can be an off day, however, as someone who is there on a daily basis I have yet to see to this.

Fresh and delicious!
live nearby and go here frequently--and i always leave happy! the food is always fresh and super tasty. and the coffee is by far the best in the neighborhood. the staff and manager are always delightful. solid spot for breakfast, lunch, and coffee.

Size matters...& so does customer relations
I live in the building, and while I'm not a "regular," I do come down often enough. Which is why I was surprised at the attitude I got from the owner when I asked him to give me a full-cup and not the half-cup of oatmeal to go that I ordered. I was told that he needed to leave room for the topping of fruit, which consisted of about 8 blueberries and 3 strawberries, bringing the container to almost 3/4 full. When I politely complained, I got a very nasty "what do you expect for $2.99." Yup, the price is good (if you feel it's too low, then raise it, but don't cheat on the quantity), but the attitude sucks. Really miss the previous owner...and will be back when there's a new one!

Excellent!
One of my favorite coffee and lunch spots! There are some negative posts regarding how expensive this place is... If you want a cheap deli sandwich and a bag of chips go somewhere else. But if you want a great gourmet salad, coffee or healthy breakfast this place is well worth the price, and among the best cafes in the area.

great place for lunch/brunch!
i totally disagree with the previous review. i go here a few times a week for lunch...and while the sandwiches aren't the cheapest--they are delicious! and far from small--they are definately decent sized. sounds like she was there on an off day, because i have never had anything less than delcious. i have lunch there a few times a week, and occasionally brunch on a weekend. its really a great neighborhood spot.
