No one compares to Delmars in tase. They make the best dishes, and best of all the pizza is done right. The workers seem very laid back but they know how to move fast. This place gets pretty hectic, especially the annoying easterns europe fellas ordering from left to right and don't know how to speak english idk how these workers keep up with half these people. . Everyone is always friendly especially Ralph(the older gentleman with the mustache) He's the best when he's in charge. Favorites must try : Chicken Marsala Jumbo Shrimp Marinara Penne ala Vodka *chicken or shrimp are both good* Alfredo Pie Vodka sauce pie Grandma slice (my most favorite) Sausage and Peppers hero

This is my first stop for pizza when I come back to the bay from Santa Monica to visit my dad. Not only great pizza, but each visit is a trip back down memory lane...

I was raised on Delmars, and for me, it's the standard by which I judge all other pizza. Delmars remains among my favorite for a plain slice (or their vodka slice... om nom nom...) and also makes what I consider the best chicken parm hero I've had (the cutlets are cut real thin, piled high and packed with flavor). Since Superstorm Sandy, the whole place got a face-lift that gives it a touch of class. Some have said that they taste different, but I've been back about two dozen times and haven't noticed - and I'm picky about pizza. The neighborhood is blessed with a number of good pizza joints, but there's only one Delmar...

I don't know how you can give this place anything less than 4.5! The place is super clean, super friendly, with an absolutely-to-die-for pizza you can't get anywhere else. Their crust is the best I have ever tasted ....If you happen to be there, pizza Alfredo is an absolute must to try.

Of the many pizza places and restaurants in the area, Delmar is the highest in prices and their portions are small. Their veal parm hero is exactly half the size of the other places and $2 more. Not long ago they raised their pizzas to $14, and now today I see it was raised again to $15. On top of this...they are the only ones who charge a deliver charge and I am 2 short blocks away. None of the other places charge for delivery and travel much further to deliver. Most of the people in my building now order from other places because of all of this.
