If you're looking for an overly seasoned not properply cooked expensive steak than this is your place. Bar scene was good , a really good size drink for the price Shrimp cocktail was smothered in sauce. Fried oyster had way to much breading and the breading was overly seasoned. Salads were fine. Creamed spinach should have been called chunky A good peice of meat should not be seasoned or overcooked The most delicious part of the meal was the waitress who was very cute and friendly. they brought complimentary desserts as soon as we sort of complained. They seem prepared for the complaints But what do they care at $50/steak wiht a packed house on a Tuesday I could cook a better steak (from pathmark) in a frying pan

I have tried cuts of meat from dozens of top-notch steakhouses all throughout the borough and this is by far the most tender, most delicious, most satisfying quality steak you can find in town! I've gone back several times and it never seems to disappoint.

The absolutely underwhelming food wasn't helped by the drafty table tucked in the corner we were seated at. We had asked for a place far away from the extremely noisy bar, but we were not expecting to be seated in in a different zip code than the kitchen. The wait staff was quite good, and this was the only redeeming factor of the whole meal. My iceberg wedge salad was sloppily plated, and the outer leaves seemed wilted. The bleu cheese dressing was chunky and delicious though. I was served a lamb chop that had a chunk of fat and gristle hanging from the side that was nearly as large as the meat itself. My partner's fillet was way over seasoned. The other diner with us had a beautiful looking fillet that he really enjoyed. The sides were so-so. We were quite surprised when the manager graciously comped two of our entrees, which was more than we expected given that one of them was mostly eaten. Although the staff was really great, a meal at the prices charged by Del Frisco's should be superb. Ours fell quite short. We won't be back.

Went here after work to enjoy a premium meal before a concert, and for the most part, was pleased. The bar scene is an absolute madhouse, packed with finance types and the soulless sycophants that accompany them. After paying 20 bucks for a mid-level bourbon, we were showed to our seats, which were thankfully isolated and quiet. However, I can certainly see where other diners would be put off by the noise, as the place was loud and rowdy. When we were seated, the waiter's tone went to the standoffish side when we didn't get liquor, and was a bit snippy throughout the meal. That being said, the timing of the meal and the attention we received was nothing short of perfect. Our appetizers (shrimp cocktail and iceberg wedge) were very fresh and of the highest quality.The steaks were cooked on the sublime side of perfection and could be cut with a fork. Yet, they were overseasoned with black pepper and what appeared to be parsley. The skillet potatoes turned out to be potato chips and were lousy - don't bother with them. In general, the meal was very good but at the prices they charge, it should be. The perfection of the steak and shrimp made it possible to overlook the overpriced drinks, condescending service, and lackluster sides. Yet, we got very lucky with our table - had we been elsewhere, our evening could have easily been a lot worse. If you're looking for a quiet place or a grown-up crowd, there's always Sparks or Wolfgang's.

The service was great, friendly and informative. I swear the steak melted in my mouth. It was cooked very well. It was soft and tasty and not hard to chew. I was soo full, but I had to finish it up. The atmosphere could certainly be considered loud, however it is a restaurant...thus a public setting...therefore can get loud. I highly recommend Del Frisco's if you want spend some good money on some good food!

The steak is out of this world....you don't go to a steak house for a quiet romantic meal....but this place is worth every dime you spend. A wine list that most wino's would die to read, the best crab cakes on the planet, and the bone in filet will make you fall out of your seat. If you like beef, this place is a no brainer.

Excellent food, but the lemon cake for dessert is something special. Worth the trip just for that alone.
