Amazing
The only problem with this place is it's not open late enough. I love everything here! Best sandwich shop in the city!

braggable eggplant parm
I recommend ordering a special request: 1/2 eggplant parm+1/2 eggs n peppers stacked (not side by side).

disappointed
i frequently get salads here which i love. i decided to try a "hot sandwich" today for lucy and it was delivered cold, dry, and frankly, terrible. really disappointed!

Abbondanza
Excellent sandwiches. Usually too big to eat a whole one. Best idea: Go with 3 people and order 2 sandwiches split 2/3 each. Egg, meatball, shrimp, roast beef are all winners. To any naysayers, I say Fuhgeddaboud.

Good stuff
My husband and I have ordered several sandwiches from here for delivery. The food is super fresh and delicious, the delivery is quick and they are always courteous on the phone. It may seem a little pricey for a sandwich, but they are large and stacked with great ingredients. Defonte's is a winner!

Best Sandwich in the City
by far the best sandwiches in the city for lunch - they are the size of your head and the freshest meat & bread - you just need to try it to know how good it is! ENJOY!
