    Very underwhelming

Great atmosphere and vibe but way over priced food and wine. Ordered Veal Tagliatelle and it was probably the most bland dish I have had in ages. The wine list was a bit ridiculously priced too. The only saving grace was an amazing chocolate mousse but not worth a $100/pp price tag.

    Mostly wonderful

We ate here this weekend and loved everything but the hostess, who was unfriendly, pushy and rude. Our waiter was great, the food was amazing. Not sure if we will be coming back soon though.

    Love this place

Had a great time Saturday night with friends here. Sat in the garden and enjoyed a great dinner. We loved our waitress and the food and especially the dessert. I highly recommend this place.

    Great!

Fantastic service, delicious food, awesome space. I highly recommend the beet salad and the swordfish. This place is great. The only problem is it gets PACKED on the weekends, so go early.

    Cool space, unremarkable food

I had dinner at De Santos last night as a party of 10. Our reservation was at 8pm and we were one of the few tables there. The restaurant itself is very cool (large bar, exposed brick, modern decor) but the food was truly unremarkable. The prices were also somewhat inflated but would have been okay if the food had been really good. Since the restaurant is in a good location and relatively quiet, I would recommend coming here before or after your meal at another restaurant in the neighborhood.

    perfect find

This place is a gem. I stumbled upon it with my girlfriend last saturday night. Even though it was packed they managed to get us a seat. The handmade pasta and filet mignon were the best I've ever had. The wine list is fantastic. I have traveled extensively though Italy and found the wine list very authentic, many wines you can't find in the states. Our waitress was charming and attentive and very helpful. This is my new favorite place.

    Alice Doesn't Eat Here Anymore

I tried DeSantos when it first opened and was quite unsatisfied. The restuarant was pricey and the food was just average. The wine prices were out of sight. Why are eating establishments permitted to make such a large profit on wines and other alcoholic beverages? I would not return to DeSantos. What a disappointment
