This is by far by favorite beer bar, one of the original beer bars in fact. The food is always delicious, the beer selection is always interesting and chock full of yummy selections and the staff is attentive and friendly- especially the owners and managers.

This is our favorite spot in the neighborhood! Great food and amazing beer selection. The staff is very friendly and the price is just right...We go there twice a week!! Who needs a private chef with Copperfields right around the corner?

I went with a group of people after work, and the serivce was great. We didn't have to worry about trying to grab the waitress attention for a drink, and the orders of food came back to back. The food was good. My favorite was the hot wing. Make sure to order that...those was GOOD!

David Copperfield's is basically a place for suds and after that, it's an OK place to grab some grub. They have a pretty fantastic selection of beers, both tapped and in bottles that they update and rotate and a pretty good clip. If you jump into the place once a month, you'll pretty much hit the REFRESH button and get a new stock of beers to choose from. The food has been hit or miss for me. I've had the standard fare with mixed reviews, but you can't really go wrong with the specials which are usually interesting like Swedish Meatballs or Angel's On Horseback. It's English food, basically with American staples tossed in. Beer lovers, GO! Foodies, it's secondary.

Came back after being away for a while. They still have an amazing beer selection but most drafts are up to around $7. The food has never been great but now it seems they don't care - our nachos were stale. The waitress was a sweetheart.

I love a neighborhood pub. Especially one where everyone who works there is friendly, the food is solid, and the beer selection is good. For the upper east side, that place is David Copperfield's. Consistently decent food with excellent daily specials. The burger here rivals some of the best in town. Fish & Chips are just perfect every time, and they give you malt vinegar without having to ask. Fries are great. Even the salads are good and very big here. What really makes David Copperfield's stand out is their obvious reverence for beer. They have 30 rotating draft lines and a cask conditioned ale on at all times. I really can't say more. This place is always my home away from home with my family. We all love it here, even the kids!

Ordered Buffalo chicken wings to be delivered. It looked and tasted like it was a day old. In fact, it wasn't even warm, it was room temperature. Eating in is one thing, but do NOT get delivery from this place.
