    Delivered food is not good

Ordered Buffalo chicken wings to be delivered. It looked and tasted like it was a day old. In fact, it wasn't even warm, it was room temperature. Eating in is one thing, but do NOT get delivery from this place.

Being a good host is allowed in this city and will go along way

We went out with another couple on to get food and have conversation while watching football. This was the place, we showed up att 6pm watched the games and left at 930pm. Had food beers, wine, you name it. The bill came and didnt mind paying it at all but my buddy counted up the drinks and they charged us for every drink. 20 drinks....again don't mind at all paying...but not to buy a round for 2 couples back. the bartender was annoyed everytime we asked for a drink. Why have an attitude when you have people paying good money to enjoy themselves. It was everything we wanted until the bill came. We hung out with friends, have decent food, overall good time and to act like I am interupting and its a chore to serve people and not doing the right thing by offering a round. After 1 or 2 rounds, thats find, but after 4, I mean really. Be a good host. It be hard pressed for all of us to go back. It would have been a good reccomendation to friends but now its not. Too bad. It would have been a nice place to go in the future. I dont recommend this place at all. head over to 2nd ave and see a lively bartender and waitstaff, they will appreciate your presence better an probably take care of you.

Great place for beer and a burger!

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant to try and find a place with a good beer selection. This place exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for and the beer selection was much better than any bar I have yet to encounter on the upper east side. A good bar burger and good service. We will definitely return.

    Love this place!

Great beer selection and delicious food! I eat dinner here at least once a week and absolutely love the food...the staff is friendly and the place is very cozy even for romantic dates.

    St.Patty's day at david copperfield

Went here for the first time on st. patty's day with my boyfriend... we had a good time drinking at the bar while waiting for a table for dinner.. the place was packed being that it was st pat's day.. tons of different kinds of beer.. for appetizer we had the onion rings which were really good.. not greasy at all and a good dipping sauce.. then we both had the cornbeef and cabbage which was really good! The burgers looked good around us, as well as the nachos and ribs.. i would definitely go back.. i want to try the fish and chips and maybe the shephards pie!

    Pub Haute Cuisine

Copperfield's is our local go to joint that has never let us down with any of their well uted pub faves....Ribs, Salads, Burgers, Fish ..Mexi treats hmmmm ...just remarkably good for what it is: A lively, neighborhood dump that also happens to be perhaps the premier Beer emporium in the city (name one better). They take their suds seriously but with a smile and offer free large shot gless tastes to narrow down the choice amongst a mind blowing variety. Yeah you pay a sort of 3rd Ave. price but damn it's worth it.

I wish this place was better!

I live directly across the street from Copperfield's and only go when the weather is bad. Its close. That's about it. The food is mediocre and the beers are WAY overpriced. I go because in torrential rain - beggers can't be choosers. It needs a major renovation of menu. The room and bar are pleasant enough... but only enough to get me to cross the street once mayve twice a month. Maybe the hospital lunch rush keeps it going....? It should be closed.
