    Better than the reviews suggest

I've been back a couple of times because I liked it so much. Great Cobb Salad! Frankly that's all I've had. Whoever started the rumor that this is a dinner place was mistaken. It's a lunch place and for lunch, it's pretty good.

    What?

I don't think these reviews give this establishment justice. We ordered take-out for lunch; the chicken sandwich on pretzel bread was fabulous, as were the cheesecake "lolli-pops." My only complaint was the potato chips that came with the sandwich...run-of-the-mill Lay's...but hey, they did "come with" the sandwich, meaning they were free. All in all, we really enjoyed our meal.

    Ho Hum

We stopped in on a Tuesday night around 7pm, and the place was kind of dead. It still took 10 minutes of our waiter pacing back and forth to even acknowledge us. Most of the beer choices were sold out but our waiter didn't know, and so it took about 3 tries before we found something they had available. The sliders were good, but not that good for $14 (and for only 3 -- maybe for 5 or 6). The dumpling duo was ok, but not much better than what you would get from a take-out Chinese place. The grilled veggie salad was a loser, and the market salad was just ho-hum. Finally finding two cold beers that they hadn't run out of was really the best part of the meal, along with the pretzel bread sticks. Not sure if everyone gets them (maybe they realize they're sinking?), but our waiter gave us a $10 "Burke Bucks" coupon for our next visit. I don't think there will be one.

    Not recommended

With poor service and an unthoughtful layout, the slightly above average food does not compensate.

    Disappointed

My husband and I walked into this restaurant at about 9pm on a weekday. It was fairly empty, so we were pretty confused when no one helped direct us as to which side to eat in (1 side is counter service and the other is more restaurant like). Oh...and no one was in the restaurant so it's not like anyone was busy. My husband ordered a Reuben (I had already eaten). It was probably the blandest Reuben he had ever eaten (i tasted it as well). For $9.95, i expected better quality meat. It was really tastless. In addition, there was hardly any Russian dressing on the sandwich to help w/ the flavor. However, the guys behind the counter were superhelpful and friendly.
