This place is thee WORST
Me and my colleague decided to stop on by for the $7.00 bento box lunch. I walked in and asked if they took American Express. I speak quite cleary and he clearly said yes we do. So we ordered. I ordered a sashimi bento which was a couple dollars more expensive at $9.00 but I was excited to have lots of tasty treats to bring back to work. Well, not only did they end up NOT taking Amex (after they cleary said they did) but a "SASHIMI BENTO BOX" ended up being a takeout sushi container filled with white rice and some scant pieces of fish that look like they had been cut with a flat cheese cutter. There was nothing lustrous about the fish and I dont know, correct me if I am wrong but a bento box usually has a little bit of everything right? This was a big disappointment. At the end when we paid he put mine and my colleagues bill on one check, when we asked them to separate it - he said well you owe 8.67 each. (He got a dish that was 7.00!) This play totally sucks. Dont waste your money. I guarantee it will be closed by the end of July.

Good Food, But Very Slow Delivery
My coworkers and I ordered lunch from Daruma today. While the food was good, the delivery took 70 minutes to arrive. When I called the restaurant to ask if 70 minutes is a standard delivery time for them, they said yes. Good food, but get delivery only if you're willing to wait an hour or more.

a wonderful find!
yes, the space is a little small, so don't come in large groups. everything on the menu is delicious! especially simple items like the rice stick and chicken/beef skewer! DO NOT underestimate this small yakitori bar. the people behind the counter are really chill-- love the homeboy vibe, the hip hop music, and the flavorful inexpensive food. this place has potential.. should publicize more and maybe have more lunch special varieties.

unique and delicious
The restaurant offers a number of addictive $2 appetizers. The rice sticks, "chicken wings", salmon sticks, etc. are all delicious. The sushi is also fresh and there are some unique rolls. The "sushi pizza" is tasty. A very reasonable place to take a small group of friends.

Super Tasty and inexpensive!!!
the staff was friendly and told me they just opened two weeks ago. I ordered the yakitori beef bento set which was only $7 dollars. The beef was super tasty and i ended up trying one of their special sushi rolls too. The grilled skewers and the sushi was fantastic. Its great to have a place with yakitori and sushi at the same time in the neighborhood.. will definitely be back!!
