Awesome!
This is the best Indian food I've ever had! Way better than all these other places in the immediate area! I've been eating from a few other places for a while - but I just found my new favorite. I just picked up a lunch box special #3 with curry goat, the most delicious basmati rice, Peas Pulato and curry spinach. Also got a Mulligatawny soup. Everything tasted soo FRESH and delicious. Just the right amount of spice! Head and shoulders above the other places in this area (east 40's/50's). And I've just about tried them all. The only place that can compare to them is Baluchi's, but I would still give the nod to Darbar. I can't wait to try their other dishes! Enjoy!

Asia Summit
I had brougt an international crowd to eat at Darbar based simply on the reviews on this website. As an Indian, I was hoping the food and the service would meet everyone's expectations and not my need to find good vegetarian food. I am happy to write that Darbar more than lived up to my expectations. The food was very good and appealed to my international crowd from Australia, Japan, China, Philippines, Korea, Indonesia, India, and Pakistan. The blend of spices was just right; the recommendations from our host were appropriate. Their malai kofta melted in the mouth. My guests polished off the Goan fish curry, the chicken tikka masala and the many other dishes we had ordered. At the end of a very heavy meal when it seemed that we couldn't eat one more morsel of food, I ordered the kulfi and other assorted desserts and we somehow managed to find some extra room for the delicious offerings. Note: I ordered some take out 2 days ago and am happy to report that the food was consistently good. I also like the way they answer the phone. It's professional and polite. Well done Darbar!

Excellent lunch buffet
This is my favorite restaurant to go to for lunch buffets. The food is always fresh and you get plenty of variety. I stopped by once for their happy hour before too and it was great! The bartender makes the best mojitos. I would definitely go back again for either lunch or happy hour.

Good Curry
Excellent place for lunch buffet, tasty food and good staff, sit toward the back of the restaurant as it was very cold in the front of the restaurant.

Excellent Indian Buffet
This is our go to place for excellent Indian food for lunch. We always have the lunch buffet so I can't comment on the a la carte items. The food is fresh and a big step up in quality compared to some of the other Indian buffets in the area. Tandori chicken is moist and tasty, curry is very flavorful and the dessert (rice pudding) sweet and cool. Highly recommended.

Great Lunch Buffet Value!
For $9.95 you cannot go wrong with their buffet. Lovely space, pleasant service (if a tad bit slow), and a buffet with dishes that don't taste like they were mass made. Really good deal.
