Fantastic
I tried Darbar for dinner and have to admit - BEST INDIAN CURRIES IN TOWN! The mushroom appetizer was excellent, though pakoras were so-so. But when it came to the main course - absolutely fantastic. I had the chicken la jaw and my friend ordered lamb buna. Both were great - tender meat, rich flavorful curry. Portions were pretty ok, I appreciate free rice refill. Service was decent, very respectful. Overall, the atmosphere was very friendly. I'd for sure recommend Darbar to anybody who has taste for Indian cuisine.

Did I eat at the same place?
Based on reviews I had my hopes up. Well, it was just awful. Main dishes all tasted the same. Samosas were dough-y, raita watery and even chutney congealed.

Excellent Indian
Excellent food, excellent service and at a very good price. The potato croquettes are delicious.

One of my favorite Indian restaurants!
I work across the street and go to Darbar often for their lunch buffet. The food is always delicious, the staff attentive and pleasant. It's one of the best Indian places in the city and I'm lucky it's just next door - highly recommended!

Great Indian food and service
I love this place and so do my parents. We go to Darbar or Darbar Grill at least once a month. If you want great indian food and service this is your place def worth it. Love it!

Take out not so good.
Ordered the Lamb special for take out. For $18.50 delivered, you get a decent sized rice dish and the meat w/ sauce. The lamb was very dry and the rogan josh, just didnt appeal, and they dont even include a naan.

Excellent Indian food
This food here is excellent, the service is outstanding and it is consistently good. We order from here at least once a week and have never, ever had a problem. I also am not able to eat spicy food, so when I ask for the food to be "very VERY mild" they listen, and deliver the order correctly. Mike, the owner, (and everyone else) is great and they remember who we are. If you are looking for some great Indian delivery this is definitely the place for you.
