Value Sucks
My gf and I hadn't been to Darbar for a few months, since we moved out of the area. We decided to give it a shot the other day - we walked in, opened the menu, looked at each other in shock then left. They have jacked up their prices by an average of $3-4 a dish. You just don't do that when there is so much competition around.

Best Chicken Lajawab!
One should definately try their Reshmi Kebab,Tandoori lamb chops,Chic Lajawab & Beetroot Malai Kofta. We loved it.Gulab Jamun was just average.Service was very nice too.The manager was very helpful in reccommending all our dishes. Will definately go back as we live around.

Delicious Value !
Delicious food at value prices. Is a great lunch pick-up place and the servings sizes are more than enough for one meal. Buffet choices for vegetarians are limited though good. Been there a few times for lunch and there is variety each time.

average
being English, we were told that Americans dont really 'do' Indian but we were craving it. We ate around 2130 but the restaurant was still half full. It was nice to have a menu away from the 'standard' english Indian restaurants! Food was average but it did hit the spot non the less. Plus we didnt get charged for the popadoms and sauces which were lovely. Bit deceiving if you're walking by and looking in...it may look quiet but they seem to seat lots of people upstairs first!

Second time is a charm
I had been to Darbars buffet on a co-workers insistence few months back and was disppointed in the flavor. I went back last week because i was craving Indian food and Darbar is on my way home and was pleasantly surprised by the food. My dishes were suberb. Great job guys! My complements to the chef!

Simply The Best
Darbar is wonderful. The food is beyond amazing and the service is great and the price is not bad at all. No other place can compare to Darbar. If you haven't gone..GO!! I promise you will love it.

pleasant surprise
I heard a lot from my colleges about lines of people waiting to try Darbar's buffet. My husband and myself went there for dinner. First the restaurant seemed empty - but they have an upper level which could not be seen from outside. It is a really nice dining area with a great ambiance. The food was delicious. Their tandoori entrees is something to die for (I'm talking as a kebab-lover) and those who likes spicy - you can not go wrong with goat bhuna, that's what I call authentic Indian. The service was great too. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody.
