Yummy Vegan Food
This place is excellent...I was thrilled to here that they open close to my apartment in Park Slope. I have been a regular at their other rest Wild Ginger for years and I am thrilled to see them branch out around Brooklyn. Everything is yummy!

Fantastic.
Non-greasy, fresh and delicious Chinese vegetarian. I'm ecstatic to have this restaurant in the neighborhood. Prices are a little high but absolutely worth it, because the quality of the food is excellent.

Surprisingly good
I went to Dao Palate for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. The decor is modern asian without being cold or typical. There were only two other tables occupied when I was there, but I think that was more a fact of it being mid-afternoon on a Sunday than anything else. I ordered the Black Pepper Seitan with Chinese Broccoli lunch special. The miso soup was above average and the spring roll was ordinary but freshly cooked and not greasy (beyond what you'd expect in a spring roll, that is!). The seitan was very tasty with a sauce that was peppery but not overwhelming. The chinese broccoli was abundant and cooked well. The accompanying brown rice was good, but there wasn't a lot of it, so I felt I needed to ration it as I was eating - but then I ended up with extra, so my rationing didn't work out too well!! Overall, it was good and I'll definitely be back and/or will try delivery.

Best Vegan Restaurant I've Been To
My vegan sister-in-law was in town and convinced us to try Dao Palate. I was not expecting to be impressed but came away pleasantly surprised! The Asian-inspired menu is large, and all of the dishes my friends and I tried were good. They seem to excel in transforming soy protein into truly delicious, satisfying dishes. The decor is nice but not over the top and the service was great. And they are BYO! The only complaint is prices are a bit high given the cost of vegan ingredients, but still a pretty good deal. Would definitely go back!
