Skip This Place
If you are going to this place for a hot lunch, better get there BEFORE 2:00 PM. After that, they are already cleaning up, have run out of things to cook and are basically ready to CLOSE! It boggles the mind why this place stays open in the late afternoon when all they can offer is a toasted panini or a personal pizza that has been laying around all day. This plus the place needs SERIOUS UPDATING. The tables rock when you put your food on them and if you have a drink, you will probably end up wearing it if you are not careful. With all the new buildings going up and increased business, you'd think the owners of this place would put FIVE CENTS into the business. Instead, you are welcomed by a drab interior, outdated and defective furniture and a very limited food selection in the afternoon. Best bet: skip this place and go next door to Rosella's which has EXCELLENT food and very fast help. It does get busy there due to the Pace College crowd but turnover is fairly constant and it is worth the wait to have a good hot lunch for under $ 10.00. Skip Dante's unless a dull drab interior, broken furniture and a staff ready to go home at 2:00 PM suits you - then - - - - enjoy!! :-(

Wonderful Breakfast
This place is great. It's a block away from my school and it took me a while to discover this place. But let me tell you, their breakfast buffet special is wonderful! I had excellent fresh French Toast (they made it in front of me) and eggs with home fries and crepes on the side. The whole thing came under $2 and it comes with coffee or tea on the side. The staff is really friendly, but their English isn't so great so its tough to tell them specifically what you want. But great place.

Slow Service
This place was great when was openning. dante has decent food but it is so unbelievably slow that it is not worth it. Sadly it is one of the few food places in the area.

Delicious Kebab!
When my kebab and salad were delivered–both the woman who took my order and the man who delivered it were so kind that I'll forgive the slowness–I was unimpressed at first, but from the moment I took a bite of my chicken, I was in love. It was swimming in some sort of herby, spicey juice, and the huge chunks were very filling. More delicious than what I usually pay $10 or $12 for.

Quality Declining, Poor delivery service. The quality of the food was great when Dante first opened, what happened?! Unfortunately, like another reviewer stated, the delivery service is is not good; it takes forever for the food to get here (>45 minutes for a1 block delivery) and warm food is already cold. Today's chicken sandwich was topped with dried and old cheese not to mention sour mayonnaise. I'm disappointed.

Fresh Quality Food with European Flair
I recently discovered Dante's a few blocks away from my office. I usually select items from the cold salad bar or order an individual pizza. I find the ingredients to be fresh, nice healthy selection and the prices very reasonable compared to other cafes in the area. Keep up the good work!

The best food for less
The food is superbly cooked, especially the fish. One my favorite food item is the eggplant lasagna. The young hostess is very informative and a delight to talk to. Delivery is very good and timely.
