Local Classic
This place has been around for years (I grew up down the block) and I was surprised recently when a family friend raved about it after stumbling upon it during a snowstorm. This is Brooklyn Italian fare by way of the multi-diversity of Bushwick. I love the lasagna, perfect comfort food but not light enough to pass further up in the hood as classic Italian. Everyone who works there aims to please and its a very warm family style place with little frills. Decent wine and salad experience balanced with well prepared pastas, heroes and dessert dishes to satisfy Italian cravings without the bells and whistles, great portions too!
