We came to New York in july this year and had a perfect time! We went to Dannys for breakfast every day and enjoyed it very much. Good service, good food & fruit and the service was excellent. Thank you!

Ah, the old Dimaond Deli...undergoes a name change, gets a new awning and then raises prices. What a world we live in! Seriously though, here's the deal- the breakfast sandwiches at this place are real good, some of the best bacon I've had in a breakfast sandwich, albeit the guys making the sandwiches are a bunch of zeros and will literally ask you for your order 3x's, usually messing it up. Guess it's tough to get help these days... Lunch is a joke, unless you like premade sandwiches that have been sitting since 8am (literally 8am, b/c there already made when I go in for breakfast!). get an egg n cheese, but skip the turkey and swiss at lunch...

Me and my girlfriend (both German) run the NEW YORK CITY MARATHON 2008 (I in 2:57 hrs / place 747) and were hosted in the hotel right by "Danny´s". So we discovered danny´s by chance... and danny´s was our favourite place from this moment and during our complete week in NY. We were daily there (sometimes twice a day), had excellent food and good BEER after the race! I wasn't expcting cheap price since it is in Times Square, but price was pretty reasonable. Fruits are very fresh, sandwiches are very delicious. cashiers are very friendly and helpful. It is great for breakfast and lunch
