    Go and check this out

Not agreeing much with the previous reviewer. Expecting dutch food in a NY restaurant is strange as the actual goods needed for that are strictly forbidden to be imported. Given this fact I find they have done an excellent job with a larger variety of Kroketten you will find in Holland. A sweet combination with Indonesian food, which also is new to me. My thought was .. . . . . you guys should also teach the dutch restaurants about this. The service was perfect, friendly, inviting. The restuarant was quiet . . . . such a relief and soo dutch. Not a screaming television. Just music on the background. Fast food. Yes. Good quality of the food is what makes it nice and special. The restaurant has exciting plans to market themselves. Wish them all the luck with that. I love the way they recycle and the way they want to hold that in a larger space. If you're looking for dutch food . . . you know from Holland, dont come here. The quality is a lot better than any 'Snackbar' you will find in Holland. They have made a creative combination of fast food and a wide range of organic and natural possibilities. I will certainly come back here. Thnxx for the nice break here. Good luck with the upcoming plans.

    DISAPPOINTING

Really had hoped to finally find a REAL Dutch restaurant in NYC. The ambiance, atmosphere and entourage is FAR from Dutch. Nothing is home-made original. We had the Kroketten: they were deep-fried-overcooked & burned. There is supposed to be a fair amount of meat in it.....a slimy paste was all that was inside. The Sate was as bad: the chicken meat was completely DRY. We rather had paid more than the $2 and get a real Dutch-Indonesian Sate with Peanutbutter-Sauce. Wishing this restaurant the best of course, I do not forsee a long life.

    Dutch Fast Food

I had the nasi goreng. It was a bit dry and quite plain (not spiced with tamarind, chilies...) Wished they had kecap manis (Indonesian sweet soy sauce). Will try the krokets next time as they have quite a variety. They at least get points for being eco-friendly and the staff is quite nice too.

    What a nice surprise!

Stumbled on this place while waiting for movie at Paris Theatre around the block. What a great place to grab a healthy snack or light meal! Impeccably clean and the person who waited on me was very friendly and well informed. I had a tofu dish, it was very good. Must try krokets next time.

    Great surprise

I stumbled upon this place today and thought the krokets looked appetizing (I've never had one). I had the spinach/artichoke and the tomato/mozzarella. I thought the spinach was ok but I loved the tomato/mozzarella! Great value for the food, extremely nice servers and cozy environment. Will be back to try other items on the menu!

    Delish!

Just stopped in here to try out the kroket... they were very good and we're dutch so we ought to know. Also virtually everything is compostable - food wrappers, plastic sauce containers etc. Delicous and good for the environment!

    inedible SLOP

This food was by far the grossest I have ever eaten. Actually, I barely ate it. I couldnt push myself to. The storefront is clean and the servers are warm but the food is precooked, overcooked and nasty. I paid $8 for "green curry chicken" which was overcooked and tasted like dish detergent along with a side of noodles, which were oily and gummy. I doubt I'll ever go back again
