I love these bagels and the low fat cream cheese is the best I've had. I recomend toasting unless the bagels are fresh out of the oven.

The guys behind the counter act like you're at the 21 Club. Completely snotty. Pretty expensive - $8.50 for a bagel with cream cheese and locks. Patrons are typical Murray Hill crowd - annoying after a late night.

Best bagels in Murray Hill are found here. Salmon is not Zabar but is very good. Other spreads are very good (but skip whitefish salad). Muffins are excellent. Has a few tables - deli ambience. Basically take-out.

I swear the cream cheese is some form of crack... j/k, but seriously, how does the cream cheese taste so good? Great bagels - that's about all I've tried, so that's about all I can attest to...

OK, first off, they need a toaster. It may be a philosophical choice of Daniel, Dana, or whoever runs this excellent establishment NOT to have one. But they should. I move from their single flaw to their merits - as in - an EXCELLENT bagel. Chewy, crispy on the outside, and as I write my mouth waters. They have lox spread, belly lox, cream cheese of all varieties and aside from that they know how to stack a line. As you wait for your bagel you will see a case of excellent old-school bakery items - among them Almond Horns, Hamentashen, Struedel, B/W cookies...yada yada,
