Perfect
I have ate at other fine dining places in New York and Daniel was far and away the best. It is expensive and well worth the price you pay, I have never had better food.

Incredible
Who couldn't love this restaurant? The experience begins when being greeted at the door to the lavish bar, to the pleasant wait staff and the unprecedented wine list. There's an inflated feeling of important when sitting here, surrounded by celebrities and some of NYC's finest business people. Oh yes, and the food is delicious.

Overrated
I took my wife here for her birthday. Overrated is an understatement. The only thing about the resteraunt that was 5 star was the service. The food was good but not outstanding, the table next to was allowed to get drunk and obnoxious at one point they got into an argument with each other curses were shouted and people stormed off from the table. The service was outstanding second best I have ever experienced after Les Penais. C'mon for $376 for 2 people I should have been close to blown away, not walking away thinking, ahh, I have had better.

The Ultimate Dining Experience
Wow! This is high definition of Haute Cuisine Gastronomique. Yes, it's rather expensive. But the experience is priceless. The food is so tasty, flavorful and colorful, you might be satisfied very early! It's delicious, and even though you might be satisified early in the meal, you can't wait to discover the next flavor suprises... The service is amazing. You will see as many servers as guests on a table, coming out and serving a dish in perfect synch... The experience wouldn't be complete without letting the Sommelier guide you with the perfect wine for the perfect meal. Enjoy!

Go there to feel like royalty
The service and attention is bar none the best!! The food is exotic, but is also pretty good. I don't feel like a fair judge as I am not of the luxury palate group. I don't have much knowledge of truffles, caviar, saffron or foie gras, but I enjoyed my dinner. Is it worth what it costs....probably not. You are paying for the excellent service, atmosphere and the lovely tidbits of food they bring you between meals. It was a lovely night of being pampered by the staff, but the food could have been better.

Don't Bother
This was a place that we really wanted to try based upon all the hype. Unfortunately, that was pretty much all we could see in the place. The food did not live up to a Magazine's description of the place as a spot for "once in a lifetime dining." There so much effort to create new and unique dishes and presentations that the core concept of making the food taste good gets lost. Also, while attentive, our sommelier made several catastrophic wine pairings resulting in bitter and sour flavors on the finish of what were otherwise wonderful wines. Save yourself the $500.
