Never ordering again from them
We ordered food to be delivered. The order was wrong, late, cold and the quality of rolls and sushi was just bad. I am never ordering from them again...Sorry...

Good food for a great price
i returned there recently for a lunch remembering it being cheap and decent. to my surprise, it was delicious. i had a great California roll and a large bowl of udon soup. as Delicious as these were, they were only 10.75! i was thoroughly impressed

surprisingly good
After reading the reviews, I wasn't eager to have dinner here, but it was close to the movie theater and it was a very cold night. To my surprise, our meal was excellent: delicious soup, interesting seaweed salad, and excellent vegetable rolls.. Will defiinitely go back when I'm in the neighborhood, even on a warm night.

It'll do.
Back here for lunch recently for the first time in several years. The place was almost empty, but the service was still slowish (though not as abysmal as I'd found it a few years back) and, as I'd remembered it, cheerless. The food was of acceptable quality but not in the first tier. --Westie

Not authentic Japanese!
Having lived in Japan, and being an expert on Japanese cuisine, this is not authentic. I ordered the Katsu ( I decided to go for fish katsu as it was a little different) I received a piece of fish in breadcrumbs ... it wasn't even panko! I asked the waitress if the beef katsu was a steak or minced beef then fried as a katsu (which I have had on a few occasions in Japan) and it took me asking her this question numerous times before she could even understand what I was asking. The staff were not Japanese and had no clue about Japanese cuisine. The rice that came with the fish was dry and horrible, the side salad was over dressed (It was a watery dressing and therefore made the salad soggy). If you are looking for a good Japanese meal this isn't it.

New owners? Much improved to my delight.
I ate lunch here with a friend the other day as it was too cold to walk anywhere else. I had not been looking forward to lunch, since this restaurant had clearly gone downhill in the last few years. But I was pleasantly surprised. It seems to be under new ownership. It has been cleaned up, slightly redecorated, the bad smell is gone, there is a new menu, a new waitress, and most importantly, the food is MUCH better. We both had nabeyaki udon, an iron pot of broth with noodles, plenty of chicken, mushrooms, tempura shrimp and poached egg. It came with a choice of a maki appetizer. Everything tasted fresh. The other customers seemed to be enjoying themselves too.

skip the sushi
had a few sushi rolls that were so flimsy and poorly-rolled that I could have made better in my own kitchen. each of their rolls has a tiny sliver of fish in it and looked like it was falling apart. what a joke.
