Went to Damis for lunch with 3 other people . We each ordered a different , and shared 2 salads. Each dish was different and so flavorful. We were all familiar Polish food , but thiswas vere different from any we had experienced . We also tried some of the specialbeverages , Polish beer - Zywiec and Tyskie , and anjoyed them as well . A beautiful and special place - we"ll definitely go again soon .

A wonderful place , good well-prepared traditional Polish food at cheap prices . A very pleasant atmosphere , friendly owners . and delicious high quality Polish food at amazing prices . Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in all of brooklyn. I love pierogis and potato pancakes I love Zywiec ! Damis is exelent for a large group party .

Damis is the best Polish food you will find in Brooklyn .The food is homemade goodnes , freshness and deliciousness , at low prices . The Hungarian pancake phenomenal - probably the best I've ever had .This portion was huge ,wonderful comfort food with some flavors . If you really want a true taste of Polish food (and people ) , you should definitely find your way to DAMIS .

The food in this restaurant is very good. My favorite is the trout with veggies, their salmon is also delicious. The other of my favorites is the hungarian soup. I love the way it is served, hot and spicy. My kids love the buffallo wings and fries. I recommend it!

A great place to take your family,girlfriend or just to go aut to have a drink or eat.Damis restaurant was great our service was good the food was fantastic.Also the atmosphere was very nice.It looked like a rainforest with waterfalls and all animalls around. we ordered a polish plate it was awsome it had 3 pierogis,2 potato pancakes,keilbasi,bigos and stuffed cabbage.We had trout and steak and hungarian pancake.Everything was served fresh and hot.It tastes great. I definetly recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice relaxing time.

This was the first time I was in a polish neighborhood and my Girlfriend and I made reservations at a nice polish restaurant for New Years Eve the owner/manger was very polite to us explained everything clearly to us it cost $140 a person but it was definetly worth it.So we made a reservation for 7 of us .There was an open buffet from when we walked in around 8pm to 9:45 there were fruits,fish ,different meats and other things .On the table there was a fantastic homemade polish jello with pieces of fruits in it,mini sandwhiches and more interesting goods to eat.The most important part of the night the bar .They had a fantastic definently european bar the good part about it was that you didnt pay for any drinks all night !Open bar!The entre was Filet Mignon fantastic the potatoes were shaped in flowers !!! and were a little crispy and we got string beans with it also.Even though there were only two guys working that night one behind the bar and one servings they both did a great job working around 60 people.There was also a great band that night. I recommend Damis restaurant to everybody. Service was fantastic !

I do not recommed anyone to go to this restautant ever! The service, food and atmosphere during the New Year's Eve Party was not acceptable! Only two people were serving over 50 guests during all night, (when I asked for clean plate and cutlery I had to wait over hour to get it!,)The food looked like as if it was made the day before the party. The sandwiches were not fresh, and main course consisted of poor potatoes, two pieces of cold green beans and filet mignon that was ok but not great. there was a lack of sodas and any kind of beverages on the table. They did not take care of customers as good as they were supposed to do, especially when you pay $140 per one person.
