Terrible representation of Texas BBQ

I loved it in college. It was the only place I could afford. It was a great deal and value then -as it is now. The beef ribs will never let you down. The servers are great!

I was there with a group of co-workers for the first time and had high expectations about the place when I saw their on-line menu beforehand. But I was severely disappointed: 1) I had asked if they had another room, as I was meeting other people, I don't think they understood my English, as I was told there wasn't one. And found out on my own that there was one 15 minutes later when I saw other people headed towards back of restaurant. 2) I ordered chicken dish - I wasn't sure if chicken was fully cooked, BBQ sauce wasn't anything special. 3) Service could have been much better - just getting extra napkins and water was a hardship. 4) I ordered a rib dinner to take home to my husband - ribs were very few and covered over with mega french fries which were not good.

This restaurant is the equivalent of a chain place, but much better. I recommend the honey covered chicken it was great and sticky. Don't go expecting fancy cuisine, just go for a quick chain like meal without going to a chain.

Great values for decent food. Not much to say here because the place meets all expectations of what one would expect. The "Dallas" part is all marketing as there is nothing reminiscient of Texas dining. My only complaint is the other diners are loud.

i just moved to NY from dallas and decided to give this place a try. i have to say, this is the most subpar barbecue i've ever had. the service was poor, the ribs were just covered in sauce to make up for the lack of flavor or meat, the chicken was bland, and the iced tea was lacking. my man says the catfish was just "super fishy" and the breading was not appetizing. the only good thing was the cornbread, but you can make that from a pre-mixed package. coming from tons of texas barbeque experience, this place is not recommended. especially if you're from texas and have that deep rooted craving for some barbequed meat.

the got wings here are delicious. loud atmosphere. average/poor service. cheap.
