Disappointed
Ordered for delivery. They got my order wrong-- so I was overcharged. Onion rings were soggy, potatoes looked and tasted like they had been leftover from days ago and refried several times. Called the manager to complain. He told me that next time he would make sure it was better and that they would give me a free cole slaw. Admittedly, the cole slaw is good -- but I doubt I'll order anything else from there ever. Thought about calling my credit card company to dispute the charge...but that would take more time and effort. So I'll simply spread the word. And the word is "YUCK"

Bigger is not better
Delivery took about 75 minutes and I live 10 blocks away. They forgot the corn bread. The wings are the size of breasts, abnormally large and looked unappetizing. We threw most of it out and I wouldn't order from here ever again. Freakishly gross sized wings.

Absolute worst
We ordered a platter of pulled pork and pulled carolina pork from Dallas last night We asked if the side of fries would arrive crispy and they assured us yes. The carolina pulled pork arrived on a limp bun. The pork consisted of the end cap of the meat which was just a thick blob of fat. The fries were wet. The pulled pork platter was sightly better since it included some smoked sliced brisket but overall it was inedible. I would never order from here again. I I had been at the restaurant I would have sent everything back!

Toughest ribs in town!
I'm from Texas, born and raised. We asked the hotel concierge for a good BBQ restaurant that was close. I was with my boss, who’s from California, and he wanted BBQ! Not me! Everyone should know; Texas BBQ is the BEST! Anyway, the waiter was pushing ribs and I asked him at least 3 times, are the ribs fall-off-the-bone? Do I have to use a knife? I couldn’t have been any clearer! If I have to fight the bone to get to the meat, it’s not worth it to me. Anyway, he assured me every time they will fall-off-the-bone. Well they were the toughest ribs I have ever had. Not even close to tender or easy to eat. To make matters worse, I told the waiter and he said no problem, he’d bring me some new ribs. I asked can I try a burger?, as that sounded pretty good. He said sure, but it would take 30 to 35 minutes. I was thinking, wow, that’s a long time to cook a burger, but hey, it should be good and cooked to order. I passed on the ribs and said, bring me the burger and I’ll just wait. Making my party wait too! We’ll it took all of 3 minutes to get my burger, so I guess they cooked it in a NY minute. The burger was OK, but I’ll never eat there again! When you want Texas BBQ, go to Texas. Don’t let the name Dallas BBQ fool you!

can't rate it
According to their menu I have in my hand and the one on here, this place should still be open. I just called (10:30 pm) and they said they aren't doing any more deliveries.... I gave it 2.5 just because I can't rate what I didn't eat but felt bad leaving everything at zero. I wanted to post this anyway in case anyone else tries to order when they're open and won't deliver.

Everything really is bigger in Texas
My wife and myself were in NYC celebrating our anniversary which includes going out for BBQ. I was disapointed last year when Tenn. Mountain in SOHO was gone. After checking this site out I decided we would give Dallas BBQ a try. We arrived around 1:00pm, and were seated right away. We decided to order the lunch portion of baby back ribs, and a appitizer of Hot Chicken Wings. When the wings arrived they looked like they could of been Turkey Wings they were so large. When the main course arrived the french fries were piled high with a large peice of cornbread with the 1/2 rack of ribs. The ribs were cooked just right and very tasty, as were the fries and cornbread. I will most definitly be eating here again as often as I get a chance. If you like BBQ you will Love Dallas BBQ

Great food @ A great price
Living in harlem there are plenty of restuarants. I try to eat here once a month or more according to who's eating with me. I love the rib and chicken combo (honey).
