    Okay food, poor service

Took forever to get our waiter, he finally arrived after sitting for a long while so we ordered our drinks, salad and dinner. Salad arrived way before our drinks, asked for rice with my meal, got fries and NEVER had the waiter return to our table until he brought the check, was done with the salad when our dinner arrived but they never cleared the table, thought about just putting the plates on the floor. I thought the ribs were just average, but for the price I guess thats what you get. Would not go back.

    Great Food, Great Price!

I love Dallas BBQ. First time I went, thought it was good, but the next time-- tried the beef ribs and they were outstanding... go there every Thursday night with my friend who loves the bbq also! Where else can you get a pitcher of beer and two orders of ribs for $30!

    This place rocked!!!

We found this place by accident and man were we pleased to! The half portion of hot wings we ordered came out and they were so BIG!!!! EVERYTHING about this place was great. We did have to wait to get a table but it wasnt long. Highly recomended and the BBQ sauce kicks a$$!!!!

    It's great with friends..

this is not a place where you take a date or propose to your bride to be. this's a great value for you buck. the drinks are out of this world and are great with their famous "sticky wings". if your in town with friends and are not into paying $50 for a meal that bearly fills you up and doesn't allow you to see cowboys getting wrestled to the ground by 600lbs bull on a 40ft screen tv, then head out to Dallas bbq.

    Ok - I guess

Cheap - not that great food. Service is ok. I've been to Virgil's, Spanky's. Here is the verdict: Ribs: Virgil's. Chicken: Spanky's. Cornbread: Dallas/Spanky's. Mac & Cheese: Spanky's. Atmosphere: Spanky's/Dallas. Service: Virgil's.

    Cheap Eats Great Drinks

The food isn't all that but in that area its the cheapest you'll find. The sticky wings are sooooo good and the drinks are great. Try the frozen apple martini its yummy. I like to call this the "girlfriends spot" because once you and your girlfriends get a little buzz from the texas size drinks it's ok to get a little noisy because this isn't the quietest most intimate spot to eat.

    Ahhhh! Home cookin'!

Good food, good service, a bit noisy. I had the baby back ribs and chicken como with a baked potato and cornbread, my son had the brisket. We each added a salad. My son said the honey mustard dressing was different but good (had a touch of BBQ flavor to it). We both left full and happy. Our food came very quickly and was hot and tasty. The waiter kept my son's coke filled which is usually a challenge for most. All in all, we'll go back there again! (it was my son's second time, my first) Next time I'm trying either the onion ring loaf or the veggie tempura!
