Best Chain BBQ place...
I've been here dozens of times, and keep coming back for more. Food is delicious, service is ok. You get a lot of food for your buck here. The only thing I don't like is that some of the items are "premade" and they cannot change it for you. For example, I ordered a side salad (happens everytime i order it) and asked for no pepper ring (I hate raw peppers) and told the server I was allergic, and he said they can't do that because the salad is pre-made. I don't understand why they can't just lift the pepper ring off the salad, since its only 1 pepper ring, but i deal with it because the food is one of the best southern BBQ cooking north of the Mason-Dixon Line. For a more toned-down atmosphere, go to the one on 3rd Ave between 72nd and 73rd on East Side. You can have a conversation there without having to use a megaphone.

Not much on atmosphere, but great food
My wife and I ate here last night. We were surprised at the size of this place. Very similer to eating in a large cafateria. Not much atmosphere and quite noisy. My only other complaint was that the tables are rather small. Other than that the food was very good. We had the vegtable tempura which was very tasty and our main course was a chicken and rib comb. Very delicious and reasonably priced. Only other problem is there is no desserts on the menu yet we saw soft ice cream machines in the back and we were presented with our check before asked if we would like anything else. Overall we would certainly eat here again and surely recommend this place.

Good food. Get it delivered.
The food is great. I wasn't very happy with the service, and drinks are overpriced. Delivery or take-out is your best bet.

I've ben to Dallas BBQs for dates time and again and honestly I've never had to complain. The music is decent and those buffalo wings RAWK! The customer service is very courteous and well mannered as well.

Not too bad
Ribs were ok, steaks so so. Good place for big parties, tourists and young people. We spent about $25 each, for one entree and a beer.

Food is great service, not so much...
I've been to the Chelsea location on several occasions. The food has always been good but perhaps a tad on the pricey side. The brisket of beef is not stellar but good enough to keep you coming back. Service is another story. One server we had was not good at all. Another was decent but rather indefferent- it didn't matter to him if we were there or not. The last one we had most recently was attentitive enough but said he wished he had known ahead of time that we weren't going to finish our entrees as he would have had the kitchen reduce the portion size. I understand wanting to not be wasteful but that was inappropriate and just weird. My recommendation is to get the food to go. It reheats well!
