typical corporate "restaurant"
don't order the onion loaf, especially to go. it was the biggest waste of money. eating here is like eating in a cafeteria only with alcohol. nothing here is bad (besides the loaf) so it's okay grub, but don't expect the best dining experience or to be surrounded by the greatest clientele either. try take out.

Satisfying given the low prices
I love living in Washington Hts but while there are plenty of places to get food, there aren’t plenty of places to get THIS kind of food. And for cheap. The food from here is great (while not “knock your socks off stellar”) & inexpensive, which is pretty much how it is at any other location of this chain. Note that I’ve never eaten in here, only gotten delivery. But hey, I can’t help but enjoy cheap bbq that gets delivered to me even when I live on 181st St., you know?

decent, mixed feelings
Decent BBQ food. Nothing spectacular, but solid and at a decent price. Service is not good. Seriously, I don't think it could get worse. Plus everything feels unclean. Order for take out, you'll enjoy it a lot more.

Very disappointed by their mediocre food
We were really surprised by how disappointing the food was. This place is usually very crowded, so we were expecting the food to be very good. The HOT wings we ordered turned out to be whole wings (not those small buffalo wings) fried and dipped in some hot sauce that you can get at any grocery store. The baby back ribs was also disappointing, as the barbecue sauce tasted like some sauce you can buy at many grocery stores. The potato fries were laughable- soft, cold and almost tasteless.

great deal/not good service
This was about the worst service I have ever gotton. The waitress was downright rude and if you asked for something it pained her to have to get it (and I am very friendly and polite). The food was pretty good, my wife and I had a special where you get two half BBQ chickens for like $10 with sides (get there before 6). Wait times were short and food was brought out quick. Just don't expect a smile and conversation from your waitress.

Fine for what it is...
First time there I got a brisket/pulled pork combo. Both were below-average. My husband had the ribs and said they were very good. So, we went back and he was right, the ribs are good. After the first trip, though, I'm heistant to try anything else. I think I'll stick with the ribs. The "Texas-sized" drinks are probably the highlight of the place. They're big and relatively strong. Everything is pretty cheap and the service is really fast, especially considering the place is huge and always packed. We've had the same server, who is a polite guy, each time we've visited so maybe that has something to do with it. Anyway, don't go here expecting anything resembling "real" BBQ, but for a quick, cheap, OK meal with drinks, go for it.

You pay for what you get
This is just like any other Dallas BBQ. (I've only eaten at this and the one at 42nd St. NYC) The food is relatively cheap and the portions are large. The service wasn't that great. I wasn't bad but I really wasn't satisfied. The atmosphere is very fun and there's always a lot of people enjoying themselves and that can be contagious. Overall, it's a good place to go with friends for drinks or on a special occassion (birthday etc).
