I will never return to the 167th Broadway location
This particular location I do not care for. I called and asked can I make a reservation and they said no. After an hour of waiting a party of 6 walk up at 8:40 saying they had a reservation for 7:30, they was immediately taken to their seats. The waitress didn't take the order down correctly, my appetitizer was served with my main entree and it was not the way I asked for it. She did not earn her $26 in gratuity. I have never had this problem at the 72nd Street location!

They need to be retrained
A fan of Dallas BBQ for years & usually have a decent experience. Well that is no longer the case. This was not a good experience. The restaurant was crowded for a Saturday night understandly but it does not mean that service has to be foresaken. The waitress was so disinterested in her job-she got everything wrong. Every order took too long to come out and when our menu was brought out and they did not clear the tables from the appretizers. The waiter (assisting her) began to out the food on the table we had to tell them to please clear the table as there is no space to put the food. The bus boy who was clearing tables across the room and drinking refused to come over and clear the table. We had to ask them to take the food back-it was cold and the complete order was not ready and would not be ready for a while. The meal was not what I remember. I am not sure if I will ever go back but for sure not to 23rd Street restaurant.

Not what I paid for...Sad but true
The chicken was dry, and the cornbread was burnt and rather dry-think BBQ s altered the cornbread recipe, not for the better. This was a waste of good money. Hope they improve.

They Were Right!
My daughter moved to NY and all she and my cousin and my best friend and her daughter talk about is BBQs. I went home for Thanksgiving and we went to the one on Fordham and what do you know - they were right. The Hennessy Wings were WONDERFUL as was the strawberry marguerita w/the extra shot. It was a Sat. nite, the place was full, the service was good -we were seated immediately, ordered and the drinks and food came quickly. The atmosphere was noisy but family friendly and fun. Four people, four drinks - $60 bucks - the prices were friendly too. Can't wait to go back. Bigdpa

good food ruined by atmosphere and service
obviously the food is tasty and cheap, but the service and atmosphere is horrific. we got kicked out of the restaurant because we had a reservation for 6 and one of our guests showed up late. i live across the street and there is at least a fight or a loud argument that goes on outside it every night. its a miserable place, where good food is overshadowed by miserable service and a delinquent crowd.
