Thank The Higher Powers
You call them, and ask "Are you still delivering?". The guy on the phone says in a non-chalant tone "24 hours." There are nights when you get home, and there's nothing in the fridge, and all the corner stores are closed in a 4 block radius and you just don't have the energy to walk any further. It's not a big production, and the food shows up under an hour, and it's perfectly decent. You're not going to be amazed by the food, but it is certainly food, and certainly edible. The menu is very diverse, so your experience sort of depends on your quality as a meal curator. As long as you can be thoughtful and considerate of what will travel well as you are awaiting delivery, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Cheap too, just don't forget to tip.

Best Disco Fries EVAR.
My friend in Clinton Hill and I in Greenpoint were craving diner food and wanted to find something between both of us, so we randomly selected Daisy's. I'm very glad we did. The booth was cozy, the staff was attentive (at times almost too attentive), and the food was just perfect. I took a risk and ordered disco fries (with gravy and cheese), and they were actually the best disco fries I have ever had in my entire diner experience. Who knew. Delicious and unexpected.

It's a diner!
When you call for delivery they put you on hold and if you pay with a card you will be on hold again. I found out why when I went there in person. The poor waitresses have to answer the phone at one location and then scurry over to another if you want to pay over the phone. I was always a little put off by the waiting on the phone thing, yet I keep ordering because the food is great for the price you pay and delivery is always super fast, in my experience. Also, I didn't expect the place to be so clean and pretty! You're always seated promptly and the waitresses are your typical greek diner waitresses :) (ie no nonsense, but fast service) I love Daisy's, it's my favorite.

Not a bad option for outdoor seating...
Went here for brunch. The food was pretty average, especially considering the prices for brunch. I did enjoy the outdoor seating area, however. The service was also adequate and the food arrived quickly.

Pretty Good Diner
It's diner food. Good, old fashioned, need to cure the hangover diner food. They have big portions and great waffles! Don't expect anything more. Delivery is touch and go, sometimes good, sometimes REALLY slow, especially when you are starving. Kid friendly? Absolutely! But go there in person!

Let me tell you....
about a place called Daisy's Diner, all right? Jesus, this place is amazing. The waffle is the best in best town, ok? Try it with sour cream, whipped cream, bacon, strawberries, and hash. It will change your life. The service is great; I am always greeted with a "heeyyyyy!!!". The atmosphere? F***ing beautiful. In conclusion, if you are a little down on your luck, maybe got fired from your job and mugged in the rain on the same day, or maybe you just want a fucking great waffle, Daisy's is the place. Unless you're half a fruit.

Great if there's no other alternative
food was decent enough-not very much of it, certainly less than most diners i've been too. service however wasn't very good at all - slow, and distracted. this is strictly a last resort 4 in the morning kind of place.
