This place undoubtedly has some of the best (bar) food available in the neighborhood after midnight, in my view. For a pub, the food is surprisingly high-quality and differentiated. Not your usual run-of-the-mill stuff.

I have never seen a place with such service! Beware of this place! They charge you for drinks that you have never order. It happened to me and my friends on two separate occasions. The rude waitress/bartender said that we must have been confused!! Well my friend had only had two Molotov cocktails, and the waitress made us pay for 3. What happened to customer being right?? I understand being confused when you have 5-6 cocktail but not 2!!! The waitress messed something up and made us pay for it. Half an hour before that, our friends were leaving the bar and guess what happened? They had 2 extra drinks on their tab and the same rude waitress was trying to convince them that they were wrong. Never going there again!!! For $200 that we spent there for 5 people that was some way to treat its customers!

A strange place. More waiters than sitting customers but the service was slow and disjointed. Nice decor, but really too dark. But that's ok. What's not ok is the level of grease in the food. It's a little disturbing. It's also incredibly expensive, but then you are in the W Vill, so what do you expect.

I live on this block and have tried to learn to like Daddy-O. I think it is a great spot and like the space - I understand it used to be much better with the prior owner. My issues after dining/drinking here 10 or so times are: the service is extremely slow (particularly the food service) and the food is not very good. The pluses are the drinks are good and it is frequented by an older crowd (i.e. mid-late 20s) then some of the other bars nearby.

This place is good. Im glad they just started serving lunch because I work in the neighborhood but live too far for dinner delivery. Nonetheless, the chicken sandwich, burger, tater tots, are all among the best I've had. No fancy frills or frou frou ingredients- just plain, high quality grub. Watch out though- bar is small and can get loud and crowded very fast!!!

Very dark, lit at night by the light of the bar and votives on the tables. Thought the drinks were reasonable, probably because the power bill is not too high! This joint was cool! Drinks were great, great price and great selection of originals, Phil is incredible!! Sat around and played cards, talked, met lots of great people (including Daisy!) through 2 votive candles. Never waited for a drink, but had to wait for the bathroom a couple times. Have recommended lots of people, and have heard of a couple great star sightings.

I love this bar! the drinks are great and the service is on point for a place with no wait staff. It's also the best place in the village to grab a bite to eat late night. The kitchen (which is open till 4 am) pumps out great burgers and pub grub. Try the chicken sandwich you won't be disappointed. The bar is stocked with liquor and the bartenders are friendly and make great cocktails. definitely a bar to stop in when downtown.
