    Bravo Italiano

Stopped by this little Italian restaurant and had the best meal of our lives. The food was phenomenal and the service was great. Highly recommend the pasta and protein dishes over the pizza. : )

    Excellent Food

My wife and I dined here for lunch on MLK birthday. The portions were more than adaquite. We had a chicken and veal dish, they were delicious. Good service and prices.

    Very Disappointing

Had a family crowd of 14 with 5 kids under 12. Waiter strongly recommended "family" appetizers we declined and were given sub-par attitude and service even though we ordered four pizzas and two orders of calamari as appetizers (we knew what we wanted). Waiter also gave attitude when I asked the prices on the entree specials. Note, everybody had a entree but were still given attitude because we didn't order the expensive items even though we didn't want it. Walk by -don't go in.

    Very Disappointing

Ate there last night. Stopped in randomly and it wasn't a good choice. Didn't enjoy the food, atmosphere was OK, but I'll remember the name so that I don't randomly pop in again when looking for a meal in Little Italy.

    Ripped Off In Little Italy

Instead of recommending appropriate sized dishes for our crowd of 10 the waiter was intent on running up the bill as high as he could. He recommended "family style" assorted appetizers. We said OK but we wanted two pizzas to start as well. Family style apparently means combine 10 of the most expensive appetizers on the menu, plus the two pizzas. Appetizers were good though. Main courses were another issue. Fair to inedible, and again the waiter recommendatioins were for the most expensive dishes (all specials without announced prices). $45.00 for chewy zuppa di pesce! Steak and pork chop-inedible. Chicken dry. Only the pastas were good. Stick to pizza and pasta and don't ask for recomendations!!

    Spectacular

The waiters were outstanding; they even arranged the room so we could take pictures and they were very friendly. The food was good, but the waiters were better. I highly recommend this restaraunt, especially near closing time!

Forget the pizzas - tasteless & bland

Maybe it was the San Geramo festival and the kitchen and waiters were very busy, but the only reason we chose this restaurant against some telling opposition was because it was recommended in one of the guides as the best restaurant in Little Italy. The service was poor and the food even worse, as the title suggests. Our pizzas had no taste whatsoever and may as well not have had a toppng. After our sad experience even the street stands selling Italian fare seemed a much better alternative.
