Way too expensive for what you get - so many better options in NYC. $35 for chicken parm with only a small side of steamed broccoli. $18 for a house salad! $28 for lasagna. Drinks are outrageously priced as well. DO not go here..

Way too expensive $45 for salmon mashed potatoes and green beans! Fortunately I was not paying or after checking the menu I would have walked out. Piano playing in this small room was overpowering and I found myself talking louder than I wanted to over dinner. Server was wonderful!!!

this resturant is one of the poorest restauntants in the city. sneeky "service charge" which is not even a tip. i was there for mabey an hour and they played the same songs over and over. the food is poor considering that its pre cooked, and as far a dessersts go....you can prob get a better cheesecake at a grostery store. the service is better, the waiting staff is very friendly and always will to help. i will not go back again, 138 dollars for 3 people is down ridiculous...in the theater district there alot better resturants.

Da Marino is a favorite hangout spot among my friends. A lot of reviewers have complained about the "ambiance" charge and prices but I tend to look at it as dinner and a show. It's a lively restaurant with an upbeat band and an atmosphere that encourages you to get up and dance; sit back and enjoy the music; or, if you're feeling adventurous, sing a song. It's not cheap but it's definitely a fun place to go for dinner and a few glasses of wine. We've sat for hours without ever being rushed, so get your money's worth of the entertainment. The food is always excellent but the one knock I have against Da Marino is the service. The waiting staff seems to disappear for hours at a time then suddenly you have 4 waiters asking if they can get you anything. A more even service would be desirable.

the only good thing was there was no wait and once I was inside I realized why.. first of all the girl doing the coat check asked if I was going to tip her now or later.. can you believe that? I said I'll get you on the way out.. and she's like ohhh I'll be gone by then.. so she pretty much asked for a tip which is ridiculous.. then they sat us literally in an alleyway.. it was like they set up 3 little tables in a hallway by the coat check room.. thanks to their 15% service charge--which is not gratuity and is written on the bottom of the menu a dinner for 2, WITH NO ALCOHOL cost $122.. and then there was a woman walking around asking for suggestions or if I had any complaints.. she's lucky I didn't see her before I left..

Had a good time. Food good. Service good. Been there many times. This time surprised with a rediculous "Ambiance charge". (Not a gratuity charge) Won't go again until the charge is gone.
