    Genuine

I never have rated a restaurant before & never really trusted those I read; somehow I feel obliged to do so now. Maybe because it started with quite negative feelings on my part. The decor is pretty awful & I was trying to impress my guests! Then the waiter came back with a different wine & vintage to that which we initially ordered. To his credit he told us but when he assumed there was no problem & started to uncork I stopped him thinking another rip-off joint. His obvious honesty & surprise won us over & we let him proceed. The wine was good! The food came. Two Chicken Caccitores & a Ravioli. The portions were indeed small but delicious; quite delicious. The three of us are not big eaters but (I did mention the potions were small didn't I) because we were still quite peckish we ordered a cheesecake and a tiramisu. They were also delicious. The wine was finished: we felt good and ordered 3 glasses of house red(we are not big drinkers either) with the warning to the waiter that they would be returned if not of good quality. The wine was not returned. Three good coffees finished a satisfying meal. The waiter & assistant were honest and professional when confronted with 3 cynical and experienced diners. I'm not going overboard & say the restaurant is really, really wonderful. It was our first time there (& I did say the decor was awful). I think it sufficient to say that I would go back in a heartbeat.

    What a find!

There were 17 of us and everyone raved about the food. Service was exceptional. Enrique made sure we had everything we needed. Very generous drinks. Casual atmosphere. Great value. If I'm anywhere near the area, it's where I'll go again.

Great Place! A Must Try! Owner and waitstaff are nice folks!

Loved this place! When you just want to enjoy a quiet dinner without the meat market vibe and have delicious Italian food, this is your place. Several of my friends have used this place for special events, it's cute and quaint and the owner is a nice old school guy, accent and all that, in my opinion, does his best to accommodate your requests. The past events were so successful that I'm having my own wedding reception here. I trust the owner so much that I let him take care of the menu for me (less stress for me, yay! ) because I know I won't be disappointed! I wanted a nice, intimate reception with family and close friends and this was the perfect place for it. For the negative review posted here...every business has their off days, it's happens, forgive it and give it another try. If you're interested in trendy, this isn't your place. This is a great place to duck out of the city for a quiet dinner with good food.
