Fantastic experience
I rarely write reviews of restaurants, but I have been going to Da Ciro's for a few years and I cannot speak highly enough about it. The owner and staff always treat me like family and are extremely accomodating to any requests, even if they are not on the menu. The foccacia robiola is out of this world and I highly recommend it for an appetizer - in fact, I dont think a meal at Da Ciro is complete without it! The specials are always fantastic - always a special risotto and ravioli, and all of the pastas are homemade and delicious. My personal favorite is the black linguine with shrimp, calamari, and scallops - it comes in a slightly spicy sauce and I have yet to find a better dish in the city. The tiramisu is a perfect ending to any meal - it is light and so fresh, its indescribable. I would only recommend that you request an upstairs table - the downstairs can get a bit noisy and sometimes cold in the winter, but if you recommend an upstairs table you will not be sorry. I will continue to frequent Da Ciro's as long as I live in Manhattan!

Best place in NYC for Food & Drinks
I 've been going to DaCiro's for almost 12 yrs. I have never been disappointed once! The atmosphere is always warm and very friendly. The food is always fresh and made to order. The espresso martinis and foccacia is out of this world. I can always count on having a great time when I come to DaCiro's. Its my home away from home. I love DaCiro's like a family because they have always treated me like I was part of theirs.

Great Food and Great People
Me and my girlfriend have been going to Da Ciro for over 2 years now and l Feel that the other reviews are incorrect. Da Ciro has great food and the staff could not be nicer to us. The food may not be the cheapest but it is definitly worth the price. Food is always fresh.

Great food but slightly overpriced
I thought the food was excellent at Da Circo, but overpriced considering the atmosphere and service. If you give Da Circo a try, sit downstairs as it is far nicer than the room upstairs and be prepared to drop at least $100 a couple.

Eh
I've given Da Ciro a few tries, but I think the last visit was my last. I wanted to love this restaurant because it's right around the corner from my apt, but it really is overpriced for what it is. The food is definitely tastey, but restaurants serving the same quality dishes for a similar price are MUCH nice than Da Ciro. It's a cute restaurant but definitely needs help with their staff (the waiters screw up EVERY time) and they need to lower their prices a little. I'm willing to pay top dollar for good food, but asking $26 for a chicken dish is REALLY pushing it at this place. Sorry Da Ciro :(

Noisy, over priced mediocre food
Atmosphere - loud, food - expensive for average, staff - very nice, more like a mediocre sports bar.

Amazing pizza
Been here twice and it was great both times. The foccacia robiola pizza is simply incredible (as made semi-famous by Bobby Flay on Food Network). The use of creamy robiola cheese and a bit of truffle oil is subtle and perfectly balanced. It's not on the menu, but if you ask they'll make it with proscuitto, sundried tomato & arugula - and it's the way to go. Our waiter was fantastic both times, gave great advice and was extremely friendly. Some of the other dishes weren't quite as good as the pizza, but the black linguni with seafood was a standout. It's not as expensive as some of the reviews indicate. We found it quite reasonable considering the excellent service and atmosphere. There's some reasonable wines in the $30 range and they are quite amenable to ordering family style (went with a group of 6 once). A real hidden gem in an unlikely neighborhood.
