    Delicious

Must try the Tigelle and Caprese here- they both are AMAZING. I'm addicted. Delicious food, wonderful warm and cozy atmosphere. A fantastic neighborhood Italian restaurant.

    Refreshingly Good Food

Given some of the more over-priced options in the city (see: Ciano), Andrea offers unparalleled value and some great cooking. I found the appetizers very good, the pasta fresh, but the sauces a bit bland at times (this could be easily corrected), and the dessert and wine very well done. The atmosphere was nice, but walls, ceiling, and lighting could benefit from a face lift. Overall, while it's easy to sit back and criticize the occasional oversight or chink in their armor, it'd be much harder to find as good a place at that price-point in the whole city. Definetly recommend.

    Will Return!

What a find!! My fiance and friends made a last minute decision to dine at Da Andrea on Saturday night, and I'm glad we did! The restaurant offers a homey, yet upscale environment and the food is fresh and delicious! I seriously recommend the ravioli stuffed with veal and spinach in a cream sauce, which is served alongside a generous portion of mushrooms and pancetta. Although it did take a while for our waiter to take our order, we never felt rushed and our food arrived shortly after we placed our order. Like I said, what a find ... I can't wait to return!

    Great food, poor service

I really liked this restaurant - until tonight. The food is authentic and nearly all dishes I've had there are very good. I can honestly say, however, that the service I have experienced on EVERY visit here has been very disappointing, especially my last visit. The waiters generally come across as gruff and unfriendly. For example, on my last visit, I had just received a glass of wine, and to my extreme embarrassment, I knocked it over. Not only did I get a stern and annoyed look from my waiter, but neither he or the manager offered me another glass - in my opinion, very bad form. I am reluctant to return or recommend this restaurant for that reason.

    Surprised it get so crowded

We live very close by so decided to try this- usually is crowded so figured must be a good neighborhood spot. The best part of the meal was the salad. I had the squid ink pasta with clams which was surprisingly bland. I kept looking for garlic in the dish, because I sure couldn't taste any. Though it was fresh, I just couldn't get over the blandness which extra salt could not help. My husband had the ravioli which were also tasteless.

    Authentic

I don't know what these "bad" reviews are for, the food here is all very fresh and is always awesome. Every time I have been there the place is full of Italian's...actually from Italy, which is always a sign that the food right on the money. It's casual, laidback, but a little loud, which I don't mind because then you don't have to worry about people hearing you're convo. I recommend it to all my friends, and they all love it just as much as I do. Best prosciutto ever!!
