It was extremely bland and oily. It lacked for salt and spices. Everything seemed reheated, including the mealy rice. This would be excusable on a random weeknight, but we were there for a Sunday Mother's Day dinner.

We ate here for the first time a few nights ago, and were surprised at how good the food was. The naan was crispy/chewy and blazing hot, the vegetarian thali was delicious. It was a wonderful spicy combination of vegetables (saag paneer, daal, and some cauliflower/potato combination) accompanied by rice, naan and mango lassi. We also had a tandoori meat sampler that was excellent. We would definitely go back!

I ordered catering for a group meeting. The food arrived early and was delicious. It was also very affordable. On the phone the restaurant was helpful. I would definitely order from them again.

I have eaten in various Indian restaurants around Manhattan and this place is by far the best the chicken dishes are consistently good, the vegetable dishes (my favorites are Dal Makhani and Aloo Ghobi) are always good and well spiced, the breads and pampadums are always fresh and tasty, the somozas are fresh and very tasty in short, if I lived closer to this restaurant I would probably eat there three times a week! The service has always been attentive and careful. The owner, Mr. Khan, who you will see behind the counter, is a friendly, courteous gentlman who is always glad to see his regular customers and everyone else, too. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I don't know what else to say I have been coming here and enjoying myself for over 5 years and bring friends whenever I can. As matter of fact writing this review has made me hungry and although I was here for the lunch yesterday that's another thing, if you go there for lunch you can have several [select]ions and combinations of chicken or lamb or vegetables for a really reasonable price I am going to talk my wife into going there tomorrow night! If you have not been here yet, try it, you will not be dissapointed. Tell Mr. Khan that "Mr. Andrew" recommended it he will know who I am.

Its a bit more expensive than it should be but not a bad place at all.

My dad was in town the other weekend and wanted to go to an authentic Indian food restaurant. I'm new to the neighborhood and hadn't had a chance to try anything out, so we stopped into Curry Leaf. It was literally some of the best Indian food I've ever had and my dad agreed. We had the lamb korma and the prawn saag and we were mopping our plates with naan. I've never posted on menupages, but when I read these negative reviews, I had to post my own to sing it's praises. We will definitely be going back.

We live in the neighborhood and used to come here all the time but lately the food is really salty and the service is just plain rude. Seems that no one really cares how the customers are treated. We won't be back.
