Great food
In terms of Indian food, then this is about the best I have sampled in New York. This is now a firm favourite of mine

If you can get past the logic defying doors - you will nt regret
The food is as good as it gets. Been there a dozen times with clients. The food is great and consistent. Will keep coming.

value for money!
with so many Indian restaurants closed in west village this place is still stands !what does that mean to you? great food , superb customer service and above all very reasonable! we ordered after seeing the advisement on Google Says Every Meal is A Great Deal! so very true! GO FOR IT.

Love!
A wonderful, charming and very small restaurant with delicious food. Kind of a throwback to how neighborhood places used to be. Everyone there is so warm. We're vegans and they're always accommodating whether we drop in or order delivery - at least once a week. We're close by, and delivery has always been fast. Especially recommend their aloo gobi, chana masala and huge samosa appetizer.

an undiscovered jewel
am afraid that once discovered this fine,little hidden restaurant (8th street between 5th and 6th ave)will require reservations, weeks in advance.its' entrance, chock-a-blocked between other stores, is difficult to find, even when you know where it is.the ambience is low-keyed, gracefully welcoming,elegantly. the food amazing. extraordinary. my compliments and thanks to chef jalal bhuiyan. the extensive menu will keep us returning time and time again.my husband hardly eats chicken. he experiment with a dish last night. it was so fabulously deliscious that we are re-enoying the leftovers for tonight for dinner.

The Best Tandoori Fish
I am not so fond of eating fish but will never forget the most yummy and juicy taste of the tandoori fish I had at Curry Kitchen and the tasty appitizers.

Great place with great food
I had Indian food maybe four or five times in my life but finding this place by accident changed my way of thinking about Indian food. From the presentation of the food to the friendly staff and owners this place makes you feel welcome. i had the chicken tikka over salad for lunch (5-6 bucks) and the garlic naan both were perfectly cooked and spiced. i highly recommend this place. the only complaint i had was that the place was a little cold because a broken door that i hope the owners will fix soon.
