Tiny Size and somewhat bland
I have to tell you to find another place, for the price you pay, you get a teeny pint size serving, with bare minimum of meat. Although they are very nice, I have had MUCH better indian, and for the price I have received much more at other places...just an fyi.

Very Good Food, Very good people
Went for dinner with my wife and her parents, who are picky eaters, and we found the food to be savory, well seasoned and spiced to taste. Better than the food, however, was the service, which was attentive to our needs, generous with on the house comps and made dishes to meet our specific tastes. Will most certainly eat here again!

Best indian food on Upper West Side
We've ordered take out and eaten in and have been impressed. Try the dinner for two, the menu says "trust us," we did and were not disappointed. There were numerous courses and everything was wonderful.

A must try!
As a frequent eater of Indian food, I highly recommend Curry & Kabab! They have a great selection of bread and vegetarian options and the staff is very willing to prepare the food to your preferences. The coconut samosas are a particular favorite of mine. :) If you are a fan of Indian food, give this place a try!

Best Indian Take Out On The UWS!
I never post to sites like this because--well, I'm selfish I guess. I read all of the reviews and base my decisions on the opinions of others. Sometimes I'm glad I did. Other times I regret it. However, listening to all of the reviewers who recommended Curry & Kabab was a decision that I will never regret so; I decided to join in and give back. I tried Curry & Kebab about a month ago (take out) and I've had them deliver 3 times since then. The food is very tasty--not too spicy, fragrant, perfect really! Also, the gentleman who answers the phone to take your order is always so courteous (can't say that for every restaurant in the neighborhood). My favorites: Garlic Naan (they actually give you an entire round rather than a quarter slice), Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Biryani, Chicken Shaag, and their refreshing Iced Tea for one). If you love Indian food you MUST try Curry & Kabab!

this restruant has everything! the food is great and the atmosphere is too. shrim tandory is very good but little well done.

Great Indian on the UWS
I tried Curry & Kabab this past weekend and thought it was the best Indian I've had on the UWS. We tried the non-vegetarian platter as well as Chicken Biryani. The platter included a few items, one was a lamb dish that was very good. The Chicken Biryani was very tasty but had a little too much coconut. The naan was fresh and hot and went well with the mango chutney. I highly recommend this for a relatively cheap/very tasty Indian meal.
