Curry In A Hurry

I have been coming here for at least 15 years. For Indian "fast food" this place is great. I have only ordered off the hot bar. The bread is fresh, they make it to order. Its very cheap, tasty and reliable. If I want a nice Indian dinner out, I don't come here, but if I want a quick, tasty lunch or dinner, its a great option.

A couple of co-workers and I came from Midtown to try this so called Curry-in-a-Hurry. It was so good and the portions was amazing. We each had enough to take home for dinner that evening on a extra full tummy. The service was great and the waiter was bery attentive. Between the food, service and the Bollywood Music DVD in the background this made for a good inexpensive lunch. My non-indian friends loved the fact that they could order the combination platters and sample all the wonderful flavors of Indian Cuisine. It was good food.....just go and see for yourself.

The lunch set was a nice deal but the food was only ok - one of the curries (okra) was inedible as far as I was concerned. Big no in my book.

I had heard they were good a while ago, but it seems that bit of intel is out of date. The lamb curry and beef saag couldn't have been less tender. The food did arrive quickly, so at least the "in a hurry" part is true.

Four stars for Curry in a hurry? You must be kidding me. True to its name, it is fast and it's kind of like curry...but it's not edible curry. This was the first Indian place I tried in the city before I knew better, and after having eaten real Indian food, this place does not taste good.

I've been going to Curry In A Hurry since it's old location. The food is solidly good, and sometimes, excellent. It's not the best Indian food to be had in the city, but for the money, it's the best value.

Affordable and good Indian food. It was packed the night I went. I highly recommend it.
