I ordered for the first time this evening. I placed the order online and picked it up, (so I can't comment on delivery), but my order was ready when I arrived (early), and the staff were very gracious. I got the aloo mottor gobi, vegetable samosas, and a stuffed naan. Everything was very fresh and flavorful, but just a bit too spicey for my taste. Next time I will ask if they can adjust the spices, or ask for recs. for milder dishes. The dining room is very simple, and was nearly empty when I went in to pick up around 6:30 pm. However, I would definitely go back and eat in. Regarding value, I realized when I got home that I could have ordered almost the same meal for about $4.00 - $5.00 dollars less, if I had ordered off the Two Course Meal Deal Menu, (app. or soup, entree and bread), instead of the regular menu. Next time I'll to that. (The Two Course Meal Deal Menu did not include the stuffed naan, though, so I'm glad to have ordered that.) I'm sorry I didn't try Curry Heights sooner, but I'll definitely be returning.

I ordered from this place twice. The first time, a few weeks ago, everything was delicious and I was really excited that there was good Indian food in the Heights. My girlfriend and I ordered last night though and it was like we ordered from a different place. Her chicken tikka masala tasted like vodka sauce, and my lamb vindaloo was the consistency of water and tasted like spicy tomato sauce. We both ordered the same thing on the prior occasion and they were really tasty. Not sure if the regular chef had the night off but not sure if i will be ordering from there again

I went here for the lunch special, BEST SAMOSAS I ever had, the food was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back for dinner with my family.

My husband and I just moved to the area from the Upper West Side where we loved our nearby Indian restaurant. We were apprehensive about trying a new place, however we were very pleasantly surprised. We ordered for take out the vegetable samosas, shrimp curry, kati chicken, naan, and tandoori chicken naan. Everything was delicious - the curry and kati sauces were both very flavorful, the samosas were perfectly crispy on the outside and my husband really enjoyed the tandoori chicken naan which we had never seen before. The ordered was prepared on time and the proprietors were very friendly. We couldn't have been happier!

I oreder a takout , I was not soo hungry and thought that a 8$ takout will work for me. Surprisingly the quatity they gave me was more than enough. I order saag paneer which was suffient for 2 person. It also include a big naan (Indian Bread) and huge bowl of rice. The food was great and very fresh, I could not resist myself , so I complete it. I had a great sleep after this authentic Indian food... I was ignoring this restaurant sinsce couple of months but now I would reconmand it to everyone....

The place has absolutely no atmosphere at all, but the food has never been less than excellent, and the service is wonderful. It is, truly, a buried treasure.
