Thinking about delivery... Don't
Was told it would be 30-45 Min. Now it's 1 Hour and 40 minutes later. Doesnt even matter if the food is good or not good. Unacceptable. And, this is the 2nd time in a row.

Not recommended
The food is cheap, but totally mediocre. Tikka Masala is glopy and cloying, Dal is unappetizing, lentils are just weird. The waiters are nice, but so what? Spend an extra couple bucks and eat better.

Good Indian in the Heights
My wife and I were always complaining about the lack of good Indian food in the area. We moved to the Heights from Manhattan, a couple of blocks away from excellent Indian on Lex in the 20's, and have also lived in London where the Indian food is outstanding. We ordered from Curry Heights today and prayed. Delivery man showed up with a heat bag which is great, so food was hot....and really delicious. When I asked for a lamb recommendation, the man said dansak, which was excellent. We had a communication issue and a spillage issue on the delivery, but they made it right, which is a great sign. Looks like finally quality Indian from good folks. Bravo.

A Tasty Treat
I was delivering documents to the courts nearby and wanted to treat myself. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted and seated. Everything on the menu looked so good, but ended up ordering my favorite, Chicken Tikka Masala with naan and mango lassi. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and I wished I had time for more. The prices were good for the quality of food, atmosphere was pleasent, food was excellent. I was pleasently stuffed....wished I had room for more. :)

Very Tasty!
I ordered for the first time this evening. I placed the order online and picked it up, (so I can't comment on delivery), but my order was ready when I arrived (early), and the staff were very gracious. I got the aloo mottor gobi, vegetable samosas, and a stuffed naan. Everything was very fresh and flavorful, but just a bit too spicey for my taste. Next time I will ask if they can adjust the spices, or ask for recs. for milder dishes. The dining room is very simple, and was nearly empty when I went in to pick up around 6:30 pm. However, I would definitely go back and eat in. Regarding value, I realized when I got home that I could have ordered almost the same meal for about $4.00 - $5.00 dollars less, if I had ordered off the Two Course Meal Deal Menu, (app. or soup, entree and bread), instead of the regular menu. Next time I'll to that. (The Two Course Meal Deal Menu did not include the stuffed naan, though, so I'm glad to have ordered that.) I'm sorry I didn't try Curry Heights sooner, but I'll definitely be returning.

Big Hit/Big Miss
I ordered from this place twice. The first time, a few weeks ago, everything was delicious and I was really excited that there was good Indian food in the Heights. My girlfriend and I ordered last night though and it was like we ordered from a different place. Her chicken tikka masala tasted like vodka sauce, and my lamb vindaloo was the consistency of water and tasted like spicy tomato sauce. We both ordered the same thing on the prior occasion and they were really tasty. Not sure if the regular chef had the night off but not sure if i will be ordering from there again
