Indian gem
I read the review and decided to ck it out. OMG! It was such an awesome experience. I ordered Keema Samosa, Chicken Curry, Garlic Naan, and Chicken Tikka masala. Every single one was soooo good. I am definitely ordering from this place again. I will definitely recommend to all my friends. =)

Best find ever!
OK, the place has no atmosphere, its clenliness leaves to be desired and the fellow customers are cab drivers on their break, but the food is consistently delicios, the guys at the counter are always kind and friendly, and the cheasy Indian movies on the screen make it relly fun, particularly if you go there in the company of a fun person, who will be truly impressed by the super low prices. good food, good value
This is my favorite hot-table place in uptown Little India -- I've been eating here for at least 10 years. Food is always good, portions are good -- one lunch platter always lasts me for two meals. The counter people are always nice. The samosas are huge and yummy. Not a place you'd go for a date, but you can't beat it for lunch or take-home dinner.

Best Indian in Murray Hill
I love Indian food and I have tried all Indian take outs in Murray Hill and Curry Express is the best by far. They always have a courteous person answer the phone and they have never messed up a delivery order, ever. This is a no-frills, down home cooking quality restaurant, so don't expect modern Indian fusion. The lamb and goat dishes are so good it rivals my good friends home cooking. I have only ever ordered delivery so I have never been inside although I have walked past and noticed that decor and ambience are minimal. Do yourself a favor and order anything from their menu, you won't be disappointed.

will never come back again
i was looking for a new place to try and the prices were fair, so i order chicken curry. i couldn't have been more disappointed. all of the pieces were pink and undercooked, one piece was practically raw still. the sauce was very watery and did not have any spices in it (from what i could tell). the food's cheap but its not worth punishing your stomach later.

Yummy samosas & naans, yummier daal and the yummiest paneer butter wala..!..reminded me of the Indian roadside dhaba taste..!..only the chutney color was weird..!..rest all 10/10..!
