Order In, revel in the taste
Chicken Tikka to die for, cheap prices, and fast(ish) delivery. If you don't work next door though don't go, there is absolutey no atmosophere. All that being said, this is one of the best values for lunch.

not worth the price
They messed up the order and forgot the rasmalai so I called them up and they said sorry and they gave me chicken tikaa instead of seekh kebab., we ran out of kebabs so we substituted chicken tikka which They said they would re-deliver it. The gist of it - they kept hanging up and no rasmalai. Poor service. Coming back to the food, the malai kebab is overpriced 9 bucks for 5 little chunks of chicken. The chicken tikka was not bad and half the price and same amount as the malaik kebab - go figure! The veg samosa was good, papri chaat was decent but they skim on the chutneys so ask for it beforehand. Just do lunch because dinner is wayyyyy to overpriced and the same little portion .

Felt Ribbed Off
Had the Lamb Vindaloo delivered. Menu says 'Served with Rice & Raite or Salsa'. Did not get Raite or Salsa. Vindaloo had description "cubes of lamb cooked in a sharply spiced onion and tomato gravy". The "cubes" turned out to be pieces with bones (big pieces of them!). When I ordered cubes, I expected boneless meat. I do not eat meat with bones (lamb, chicken, etc). The menus says: All Dinner - Boneless Meat. That is false advertisement. I also did not get any Raite or Salsa. The dish was not as spicy as I expected it to be. Very disappointed.

Sub-par rating
There is a long list of indian restaurants in gramercy/murray hill, I guess I picked the wrong place on the wrong night. Since Curry In a Hurry was closed down for renovations, I decided to try curry and curry. I expected a 45 minute wait as discussed, not an hour and forty five minute wait. Aside from the wait, there are several other restaurants in the area which I think are much better, more meat in the sauces, spicier, etc. Not a bad rating, but certainly not stellar as the previous postings noted.

Best Indian food
The Best Indian food in NYC ... REALLY! Portions are big and the price is good. The best value is actually their lunch specials. Big tray of rice, big tray of the food. And rice isn't extra! I've eaten at Indian places where they make you pay extra for rice. You should never pay extra for rice! Definitely eat here! Their eat-in area isn't all that fancy. But check out the dood in the back cookin ... he usually has this big grin on his face :-) Don't know what he's so happy about but their food is awesome.

Huge portions of yummy indian
I don't know what the other people are talking about in terms of small portions -- unless they are linebackers or something. I have a VERY healthy appetite and every time I order from here I find myself eating the food for the next several meals. It is very filling and satisfying. Will continue to order from here in the future. Love all the veggie options.
