Great place for the money
I'm actually writing this as I sit in curry curry. Based on some of the other reviews I was expecting subpar food but to my surprise the food here is great. For lunch I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo and samosa's. My girlfriend ordered the chicken curry and Indian salad. Both of out meals were cooked to perfection. The space is a bit small but the service is great and the food surprisingly good. I would strongly recommend this place if you don't mind a whole in the wall atmosphere :-).

Ok place,ok food.
We had the tandoori fish,curry daal, vegetable samosa, rice, and naan bread and drinks. My friend and I split the meal.The fish was dry and tasted a bit burnt on each piece.Normally, I do not have to add salt and pepper on indian food because it's usually well seasoned but the fish was not.The samosa was ok,but tasted different from samosa's I had before.It is not spicy but still ok.The Naan bread was huge! [I love naan bread!so this part might be a bit biased]. I felt it was too chewy/thick but yummy with the daal. We ordered and paid downstairs not knowing we could have ordered upstairs.The waiters mainly brung us our food and that was it.Overall, the restaurant is ok. Not a place I would visit frequently...not off the charts indian food.

Not worth it
Well I'm used to eating good Indian food and this place was just OK. Do I regret spending the money I did there? not really. But it didn't leave my mind for a moment that I could be having Indian that is better tasting, in larger quantity and for a price that is the same or cheaper if I just stick to my usual haunts farther uptown. Nice servers, but not worth it in the long run.

food never came
ordered food bf needing to leave for airport, after 45min I called and was told it had left. After an hour and a half I called to cancel my half of the order, requesting to still have other half delivered. my roommate said the food never came

delivery experience
I wish there was a negative rating policy also. I ordered online and after 5 calls and 1 and a half hour after submitting the order, the dinner is still not here. Every time the response i get is the delivery boy already left. and the manager at the store is very rude and says he cannot help it and i have to deal with it.

Chicken Biryaani
The chicken biryaani here is consistently fresh and tasty. Chicken Tikka Masala when ordering for lunch is not bad at all. Samosas are quite good as well. I've been put off by the naans here, undercooked a few too many times. Delivery has been consistently within average time limits, never late for me -- give them a shot.

excellent take out indian
i order from this place for lunch. i work in the neighborhood. i don't agree with the negative reviews. i had an issue ONCE with this place for delivery. i called and complained- i guess the building next door had a fire and their restaurant was affected. they did everything that they could in order to make me happy and they value their customers. their food is excellent.
