    delivery experience

I wish there was a negative rating policy also. I ordered online and after 5 calls and 1 and a half hour after submitting the order, the dinner is still not here. Every time the response i get is the delivery boy already left. and the manager at the store is very rude and says he cannot help it and i have to deal with it.

    Chicken Biryaani

The chicken biryaani here is consistently fresh and tasty. Chicken Tikka Masala when ordering for lunch is not bad at all. Samosas are quite good as well. I've been put off by the naans here, undercooked a few too many times. Delivery has been consistently within average time limits, never late for me -- give them a shot.

    excellent take out indian

i order from this place for lunch. i work in the neighborhood. i don't agree with the negative reviews. i had an issue ONCE with this place for delivery. i called and complained- i guess the building next door had a fire and their restaurant was affected. they did everything that they could in order to make me happy and they value their customers. their food is excellent.

    Change for the worse!

I used to love this place. It was a hole-in-the-wall, neighborhood joint that served damn good, authentic, cheap Indian. Whenever I went, there would be a Bombay movie playing on a tiny television and Indian folks eating there. It was a dump, but that was fine because you either went for a quick bite or take-out. The new owners now white table-clothed the place, but kept the counter service. It just looks ridiculous. I wouldn't mind it if they kept the food the same quality. But now, the food is not fresh and is all salt and no spice. They don't even fill up the take-out containers. What a cheap stunt. I stopped by on a Thursday during prime dinner time and not one person was there. I'm so sad.

    Poor service

We ordered through web the other day from this place. We were told that the waiting time was between 30 and 40 minutes. However, after an hour and fifteen minutes, the delivery still did not arrive. We had to call the restaurant to ask what happened. We were told that the food was on the way. The food finally arrived after another 20 minutes, making the total waiting time for delivery to over 1.5 hours, which was over twice the waiting time we were given initially. And to make it worse, they didn't even give us any fork or spoon. The food was barely average. The overall experience made us never want to order from this place ever again.

    Not recommended

Food was not good. The chicken and lamb dishes I ordered were microwaved because the meat was dried out. The spinach dish wasn't much better, but was better than the chicken or lamb dishes. All of them were far too salty and I like salty food, the lamb korma didn't taste anything like lamb korma should, nor did the chicken tikka masala (no creamy or yogurt consistency). All the dishes were overpriced and you get a ton of sauce and hardly any meat for your money at all. Very disappointing. It used to be good but someone wrote the owners were changed.
