vegan tostada salad here I come!

I traveled 30 min on my 60 min lunch break for this salad and I'd do it again! Succulent perfectly ripe avocado and tomato, soy jack cheese, most amazing spicy soy chicken, black beans, and a crispy whole wheat tortilla bowl. The dressing was good but I hardly needed to use it! I picked up my order to go so my review is mainly for the food and the cool guy who took my order.

    Yummm

I have been here a number of times, and I have yet to be disappointed. I've tried the Sloppy Joe, TLT (tofu lettuce tomato), avocade burger and veggie burger and they have all been great! The dining area is small and cramped, but usually it's fine, sometimes there is a wait. The service is OK, the waitstaff is forgetful but the food makes up for it. The best part was dessert. I don't remember the exact name, but I had a piece of Chai Chocolate cake and it was the best cake I have ever eaten. Omg it was sooo creamy and delicious.

Inconsistent! But, lovely when they get it right.

My biggest gripe is the food is inconsistent. The fries one day will be under cooked, the next day burnt. One day you will have a pound of lettuce on your sandwich, the next day, a reasonable amount. The granola and yogurt will either have a ton of yogurt or just a spoonful. I eat here a lot, but it's not worth the price to get so excited for the dish as it's made correctly and then be so disappointed in it made badly.

    Yummy Sangria

Went with a friend from out of town. I have to agree with other reviewers that the service is poor. The waitress forgot our drinks and then stayed in the back on her cell phone when we tried to get her attention. The food was pretty good. The fries were excellent. But the best part of the meal was by far the sangria. Deee lish!

    Love this place

I live across the street from here, and probably order once a week. They have an awesome variety of food, and it's always very fast. My favorites are the cobb salad and the Mexican chilequiles. My only complaint is how CROWDED and CRAMPED the place is -- part of the reason I almost never eat in.

    Fantastic desserts

My friends and I come to Curly's always in the hopes that they will have Magnolia cake, an amazing almond sugar cake that looks like a birthday cake but tastes incredible. Even when they don't have it, the other desserts are great too. Other than dessert, the menu is a good mix of healthy and less healthy fake-meat options, and it's a true diner with lots of different things from breakfast to burritos. I also enjoy coloring while waiting for my food.

Great Food, Great Price, Great Service!

I eat here alot. I have to say the service is always wonderful. The food is always above and beyond and I keep coming back because of the great energy that place has. the cuban sandwich is the best as is the infused lemonade with blackberry. this really is a breathe of fresh air in nyc. you get great healthy food at an excellent price. the crayola and blank placemats are an extra bonus.
