Tostadaaaaa
The Tostada salad = AMAZING! I'm not even a vegetarian but I LOVE this place! I was in the mood for a huge salad and this hit the spot :) I had my salad with the spicy chicken and it was extremely delicious. The garlicy kale & butternut squash burrito as well as the buffalo & bleu cheese burger were also at my table and everyone agreed that this food was to die for...go whether you are a veg-head or not!

THANK GOODNESS FOR CURLIES!
This is by far the best little hole in the wall I've discovered. It's cozy, cool and the food is to die for. I can eat the Santa barbarella over and over again. The sweet potato fries are amazing as well as the buffalo hot fries. The waitresses are cute and alternative most of the time so that's fun to look at and the art on the walls keep you mesmarized. They certainly have my business.

Curly's FOREVER
this place is the BEST. CURLY'S is one of the most incredible and HEALTHY DELICIOUS vegetarian food, made with love, served with respect, tasty, yummy, wholesome food. What more could anyone want from a fofu sloppy joe, vegan pancakes, and schmear, whatever that is, but its CURLY'S FOREVER

I love Curly's.
I cannot believe people are bashing my beloved Curly's. I live in Baltimore - not the friendliest place for vegetarian food...not the worst. There is one thing I always look forward to when I make the pilgrimage to NYC, and that's Curly's. I know I can get the tastiest and most reasonably priced homestyle veg food. I love the blue plates, especially the subs! Where else can you get a frothy Mexican chocolate shake .... that's vegan?! I've been a vegetarian for my ENTIRE life, I think I know what good veg food tastes like. I've been to my fair share of potlucks and had some of the crappiest lentils that could pass for baby-waste. Trust me, Curly's is the best!

Shame on Curly Haters!
I never write reviews but I had to for the few negative ones. Curly's is one of my favorite vegetarian restaurants and I recommend it to everyone. The portions are generous for what you pay for, especially in comparison to similar type places like Foodswings. I've never had a problem with the servers before either; I like hands off serving and Curly's is attentive enough to my liking. I take my omnivorous husband with me here and the even have things he can stand! Pancakes are amazing as is the chick'n sandwich. Husband usually gets the macaroni and cheese or omelet.

Not good veg food
This isn't good. The food was subpar...the curly fries weren't even that good. I got a burger...the veggie burger at Burger King is better. It is too expensive as well. The server was overworked.

Always Amazing.
I always like to try new places since there are so many restaurants in the city. Curly's, however, is one of the few places that I reliably go back to again and again. Their veggie burgers are the best I've ever had: a homemade black bean burger on a whole wheat ciabatta bun. I usually go for the avocado and jack burger. My boyfriend loves the Dragonbowl Z. The servers are always very nice and attentive, and they handle the busy times (there are a lot of busy times, the space is pretty small) with poise. Its always worth the wait.
