Disappointing, greasy food
Nothing more I really need to add. Found this place incredibly disappointing. Have a burrito and it was oily and gave me a stomach ache afterwards. Strangely enough, service, despite earlier postings, was the best thing about Curly's.

I love Curly's
I don't have any idea why people are complaining about Curly's, I love Curly's so so much! I just wish it was less popular so the wait for brunch wasn't so long on the weekend:P Seriously though, as a vegan I come here for brunch regularly. I love the brunch specials including frittatas and slumberjack breakfast yum. good food, fun vibe, and the staff is great, the owner is often there waiting tables and smiling and laughing. I don't know how anyone can complain, seriously. This is new york people.

Poorest service ever
Ordered delivery- told 25 minute wait 1.5 hours later food arrives (4 salads) all missing dressing, charged over the total amount, called back 30 minutes after ordering to be told we are out of "crab cakes" and to be compensated with a 25 minute wait for are dressings. Never eating here again or recommending this "great" restaurant to anyone!

Amazing food, poor waitstaff
The food is always wonderful at Curly's which is the only thing that keeps me coming back. Someone else commented about how people want above and beyond service, to be treated with kid gloves in a restaurant. At Curly's I've waited over an hour for a table while it was half empty and the waitress sat up front talking to people, ignoring customers. Then I waited an extra half hour for my order to be taken. The staff is always downright rude. I don't care about a smile I just care about not being spoken to condescendingly and not have my orders messed up then instead of corrected have a rude waitress insist I was the one who was wrong about what I ordered when the receipt then comes with the correct order on it. Even over the phone the waitresses still are terribly rude. Now I just get my food to go and eat at home as its just not worth dealing with such poor service. I'd suggest everyone do the same although make sure you call only 15 minutes before you go in then expect to wait when picking up. The waitresses literally will yell at you otherwise.

Love this place
Always found the service to be quick and courteous. Love the different items on the menu. Big tasty portions. Wish there was one near me in Brooklyn. I'd eat there every night.

When the service is that disappointing, the 'slightly' delicious food doesn't matter so much.
I'll be the first to admit that the food is tasty. No arguments. But maybe the waitresses just hate their job, because they sure don't seem enthused that out of SEVERAL veg option places (not to mention MILLIONS of other options in NYC), that I chose their establishment. One didn't even smile at me. Not even a smile. If I'm such a burden, I'll pay for manners somewhere else, thanks.
