great coffee joint, GREAT cookies
This place makes a fantastic cup of coffee and espresso. Also, their cookies are out of this world. They're huge and most often warm from being just-out-of-the-oven. Not so good if you're on a diet. But really, who cares - these things are worth the calories.

A Gem
Finally a coffee bar that isn't overpriced and has the most delicious cappuccino I've had! The truffled egg salad is really yummy and the cheddar and veggie sandwich is fresh and crunchy. It's nice to find this little gem of an oasis. Prices are really reasonable and the baristas are amazingly friendly!

Best coffee place in midtown
My office used to around the corner from this coffee and tea shop, and I miss it. My new office only has a Starbucks nearby, and there's no comparison. I wish they would expand and add more locations in NYC, especially near Union Square.

Undrinkable espresso
The atmosphere in this tiny place isn't bad. If it's not too crowded it could be considered cozy which is a nice relief in midtown. The chocolate croissant is pretty good and the service although slow and not particularly friendly can be overlooked. What can't be overlooked is that the espresso we had was undrinkable- not just mediocre- undrinkable. I like to support small coffeehouses that are not part of a chain. If they can learn how to make a good espresso I wish them success.

Good Espresso, Cappuccino & Muffins!
A coffee with muffin -- that's how i like it at Culture Espresso Bar :D I als0 like the sofas in there and the fact that they provide free wi-fi. Did i mention their baristas are nice too?

Best Cappuccino in Manhattan!!
I've been searching for years for the best cappuccino in Manhattan -- and I found at last!! Wooohooo! Not only can you compare this fine liquid gold to the European versions, but you can compare it to wine. It's bold, robust and sensuous...and it's organic. Food is also entirely organic and scrumptious and the service is nice. Thank you!!
