excellent across the board!
Cucina Gourmet is excellent at providing fantastic quality food on a regular basis. They have ample options daily. So if you are hungry but you aren't exactly sure what you're in the mood for.....just go there and they will have something you will like. And even if they don't have something on the menu that you want, they will make it for you. They have incredible customer service. Their food is made fresh daily, as opposed to making it day(s) in advance and freezing it. Anyone who knows food can tell this place does not do that. I've had almost everything they offer, and it is always wonderful...I work in the area and go here for breakfast and lunch about everyday. No complaints at all! Keep up the good work Cucina Gourmet :)

Too much garlic!
This is a great take-out place. It has a lot of options and the food is decent. I eat here just about every day and enjoy the variety of the hot and cold buffet. I can't speak for their sandwiches, pizza or soup since I've never tried any of those options. Like any restaurant, some dishes are better than others - My favorite is their mushroom ravioli! My one complaint (and it's a big one) is that the chef is garlic happy and, most times, a little too heavy handed with the garlic. I have learned to stay away from the hot vegetables because they are just marinated in garlic. They look so good but everytime I have tried them I couldn't finish them because of all the garlic. Some of the cold salads are drenched in garlic also. Not everybody is a garlic lover. Please lighten up on the garlic and in some dishes leave it out altogether!

The last reviewer was basically right. It's not terribly expensive, and it has a lot of options. Here's the problem - the food is not good. Ordered a pastrami and swiss, and it was uniquely bad. Bland, lousy pastrami. Average bread. Non-existant slice of swiss. And even if it had been good, the amount of pastrami was minimal. And, despite what the menu says, they DON'T serve cole slaw on the side. Sure, the sandwich was a buck or two less than it would be elsewhere, but it was garbage. $7 for bad food is not a better deal than $8.50 for good food.

Not great
food was okay but very bland and Grilled Vegetable Wrap did not come with smoke mozzarella or basil pesto, which was why I ordered the sandwich.

Go to Lunch Spot
The self service lunch bar is great. There are so many options to choose from and being that you serve yourself you control the portion. Food is weighed and thus you only pay for what you want. Delicious!
