Cucina Di Pesce

I picked this restaurant for dinner with three friends because of the reviews on this site and because of its proximity to the theater a few doors down. We weren't disappointed--in fact, we were delighted. The place is lovely, the wait staff charming, and the food delectable. The prices were impressive, too. We've paid a lot more for food that wasn't nearly as good. The wine list wasn't extensive, but we ordered their best chianti and gave it four thumbs up. Ditto for this restaurant!

This is by far one of my favorite Italian restaurants. The food is just fantastic, the decor lovely, and the service impeccable. The early bird special (goes until 6:30 not 6) is a great value. For $11 you get: salad, soup, entree, and a glass of wine (or soda). After dinner, they present you with a delectable dessert tray to choose from. Try their tiramisu--just delicious. Note: they only accept American Express.

I am a brand new transplant to the Big Apple and am pleasantly surprised by the quality and value of the food industry in New York. Los Angeles cannot hold a candle to the food in NYC. Cucina de Pesce is one of the great finds for me and my friends. The food is good, the service is excellent and the ambience is old world and quaint. I would highly recommend this establishment to any tourist or native.

Cucina Di Pesce is a great restaurant for budding romances: the food is great, the service is exquisite, and the atmosphere is straight out of Italy. The food is actually pretty cheap and the portions are a good size, too. This place is always packed, but not with tourists. They have a great menu, a great wine list, and a great dessert try which they know when to bring to show you every time. Try this place!

But what a shame that would be! What a great find this restaurant was! The food was delicious, the aromas alone were mouth-watering. The atmosphere was cozy and lovely. We were seated outside in the little courtyard area, very romantic and has a nice mediterranean feel. The service was impeccable and the prices were incredible. I found out this is a favorite of the locals, so you aren't likely to find any tourists there. Its definitely worth a visit, I've been raving about this place since I went.

Very good Italian food, very fresh. The wait staff was also very nice. The dining room did get a bit loud.

I went here with my boyfriend for our anniversary... The food was amazing and we got out of there for less than 30 dollars.. The dining room is elegant, the service wonderful and the tiramisu to die for.
