Cucina Di Pesce

There is no way you can find a better value in NYC than Cucina di Pesce. You will be in shock at the low cost of the menu items. The food itself is very good too! I went as a party of six, and the tomato and mozzerella was a very nice start. My friends also enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms very much. I read another review that recommended the Seafood Lasagna, so I decided to try it, and the review is right, it was AMAZING! You will get your choice of sauce, and I had the white sauce. It was very good, not too heavy. A friend had the veal parm, and said it was fantastic. The red sauce has a somewhat sweet taste to it, which I found very good. We didn't know who our waiter was. This was because we had three of four people waiting on us, ensuring that we had whatever we wanted. They were friendly, attentive, but not overbearing and didn't interupt conversations. The wine list is very good, but for some reason, we opted for the Sangria, and it was delicious. Deserts were very good as well. The white chocolate cake was good, but I highly recommend that Tiramisu! Fantastic! The only negatives were that is was a bit humid, but they turned on the AC when we asked (other customers were a bit warm too), a couple of water glasses were not clean when we sat down. However, neither of these took away from our experience. We had a great time, the neighborhood is nice and the walk to the subway afterward was very nice. I highly recommend Cucina di Pesce, you won't be disappointed.

There's something European about the good, friendly but not overbearing service at Cucina di Pesce. It also helps that they know me by name now because I'm a devoted fan. The food is great and great value. The wine list is pretty extensive and not a rip off by any means. I'm not a huge dessert fan but my friends that are love the place. I like the Tiramisu, which tastes homemade. Finish with a nice espresso and an after dinner drink and I'm a happy man...

I have been eating there for years. I love it so much. I've had many special occasions there. My Engagement dinner, birthdays, as well as social & business meetings. Besides the food being fresh and tasty, my favorite part is the fact that you have 4 different options for your ambiance. First you can eat outside at front. Then you can venture inside by the bar or the first dining area which has that old word feeling to it. Then when you go in a bit further to the second dining room, the room is just illuminated! It has a beautiful skylight. Finally, you can proceed to the back garden area which is just to die for. I love this place. Myself and my family have a history with this place. The service is amazing. If you haven't been yet you must!

This place has the fastest delivery in town. Unfortunately, I don't think that the food is quite so good. It's not horrible, but not fantastic either. The appetizers were actually pretty good, but some of the entrees were less then spectacular. I had the broiled scallops and they tasted a little like they had been cooked in lemon Lysol. The Salmon was nothing special. They gave us half a dozen oranges, which kind of made up for it though. And someone who ordered with me said that the Sicilian Lazagne was the best that she had ever had, so maybe I just got the wrong entree.

From the outside it doesn't look like much, but inside is really beautiful. Went here at 3:30 (it opens at 3pm) and had the early bird special with Fish of the Day. Great food, great company, great atmosphere (everytable is gently lit with a candle), great service, great background music, and it's decently priced. I have nothing to complain about.

I had dinner here last Saturday Night....I can't believe it for two of us we had a 3 course meal and a bottle of wine for $79!! the meal: I had the exotic lettuce salad, only problem with that was the waiter put a bit too much balsamic vinegar on it, but it was still nice...my Entree: I had the Brook Trout was the nicest piece of fish I had in a along time, so meaty and fresh, I can't wait to go back and have it again, it came with a crabmeat/shrimp and scallop stuffing, and then they brought out the dessert tray....mmmm, the homemade tiramisu was divine....my only problem with the serivce was I asked for a liquer coffee after my meal, a baileys coffee, the waiter said they didn't do them, but he was able to make me a cappucino, I just think it was more a language barrier, he didn't know what a liquer coffee was... if I had explained it to him im sure he would have done it, but again it was an italian restaurant they should know their liquer coffees....that's was my main complaint but they rest was a lovely experience. I will be back.
